Great paella nearby the Prado Museum + Retiro Park. We had the paella señorito and it was delicious!

This place is truly a hidden gem and a perfect spot for a casual lunch after visiting the Prado Museum. They offer a prix-fixe lunch which includes a beverage, starter, entrée, and dessert or coffee = all for just 14 Euros which is a STEAL! The menu is entirely in Spanish but with our broken Spanish skills, our kind server loosely explained the menu which sort of left us with our heads scratching and we still weren’t totally sure what to expect but guess what — we ended up with a fabulous lunch! My fiancé and I both started off with the«Pochas con Almejas»(white bean soup with clams) and loved every bite of the creamy and hearty beans — it tasted like real home-cooking! I thoroughly enjoyed my main dish of «Arroz Negro»(rice with squid ink) served with bread and addictive aioli — it was decadent, slightly briny, and satisfying. He had the rabbit dish with potatoes — two thumbs up! Torrenostra seems to specilaize in «flan» for dessert since they had a ton of flavor options including strawberry, melon, and lemon; we ended up with the«Flan de café» and«panna cotta» with tart berries and walnuts and they were perfect sweet bites to end the meal. So happy to have stumbled upon this place during our visit to Madrid!
