Telepizza

No recuerdo estar en un local de fast food más sucio y desorganizado que este.
Tuvimos que limpiar una mesa para poder sentarnos.
Las patatas fritas, medio crudas y escasas.
Los aros de cebolla, demasiado aceitosos.
La botella de refresco de litro, no muy fría, y no disponían de hielo.
Menos mal que la pizza estaba buena.

Telepizza isn’t a gourmet pizza joint, and it’s not trying to be. Even in a metropolitan city with fantastic tapas restaurants and many other cuisine options, sometimes you just want a pizza. And telepizza can fulfill that need with a personal pizza, coke, and garlic bread for around 6 euros. The personal pizza is decently-​sized and the combo comes with 2 toppings included. I always went for the goat cheese and jamón because, well, Spain.
Telepizza seems rather hit or miss depending on the location. This location (on Calle Bravo Murillo) was rarely busy and was efficient in taking and making my order. They have an kiosk to order your pizza as well, but the kiosk never worked for me. Not sure if it was due to my American debit card or what, but I always needed to order at the counter. Staff were friendly and patient when I asked them to repeat something in Spanish. Dining area is bright and clean, with both an upstairs and downstairs level.
Not rock-​your-​world pizza, but it hits the spot, and seems like a better deal than PaPizza or some of the other pizza joints around Madrid.
