Location is 10 minutes walk from major metro station Plaza de Eapanya, 5 minutes walk from Templo Debod and Museo Cerralbo. We did not really try any restaurants nearby but there are a lot of them. Room is adequate, two twin beds pushed together — didn’t feel the difference. My biggest complaint is the water —- could become very hot in an instant. When someone uses the sink or flushes the toilet. Ouch! Be careful. Service is great, everyone seems nice and helpful. Tip: if you opted for daily breakfast, free breakfast doesn’t start on your first day(check-in day); we got charged € 15 for two people for that. Overall, we will recommend.

We stayed here on two separate occasions within the same week, and we had consistently great service both times. The hotel sports a modern décor with a clean, comfortable feel. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and tended to speak good English. I will say that I enjoyed our second room more than the first, due to its having a true king bed(rather than two twins pushed together) as well as a tub/basin plus shower combo(rather than an open, i.e., wall-less, shower). Both times we got window rooms, but all you can see is a school across the street.(No big deal.) Suites Viena is conveniently located just off Plaza de España, which means easy access to a major Metro stop, as well as proximity to major sites such as the Royal Palace and Opera/Sol areas. Despite this great location, the rooms are fairly quiet(with the one exception being nightly trash pickup on the street, but again, no big deal.) Though I couldn’t get the free wifi to work on my iPod Touch, there was a computer in the lobby for guests to use, so I was able to check email, map sites, make dinner reservations, etc. Overall, I thought SV was a very nice hotel and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
