Soufflé

A quick history on me: I grew up with cute Japanese stationary. All my classmates in Hong Kong use it! All the shops sell it. Then I moved to Canada at age 7 and encounter (for the first time) «regular» pens and pencils. Who knew? Who knew erasers can write more than erase? Shortly after, I realize it’s because my Canadian classmates just steal each other’s stuff and put them in their mouths. Ew!
There are a lot of Hong Kong immigrants in Canada so we have lots of cute stationary stores. Also eBay makes everything so cheap.
But in Madrid?! I didn’t expect to see all the cute colours here! Berta G took me here with her little obsession of cute stationary.
Soufflé is owned by this wonderful lady who travels to Korea and Japan, handpicks her products and brings them back. Your choices as a customer are: eBay or this store? Her prices are so reasonable that I would visit the store!
It is very tiny (one room) but it has a LOT of products. Stationary is small, after all!

La tienda de las monerías por excelencia.
Tiene millones de cosas de papelería y regalines japoneses, koreanos… cosas que si te paras a pensar no necesitas pero no saldrás con las manos vacías.
Bea, la dueña, viaja cada poco a Tokyo, Seul, etc para traer las novedades mas novedosas y crearnos necesidades :)
Soy fan total de la tienda y tiene muy buenos precios, no conozco otra igual en Madrid.
