Rightly or wrongly, I had high expectations of this meal. Given that this was considered the «nice» restaurant in the Hilton, I figured the food would follow suit. All in all however, it was a bit disappointing.
On a positive note, the décor and service are excellent. It’s located in the lobby of he Hilton and is a very convenient option.
From a food standpoint, I had their signature dish, the truffled tagliatelle, which is sold at Hilton hotel restaurants worldwide. The dish comes with a cream sauce, chicken and almonds. It was surprisingly bland and overall just not memorable. I also had a mesclun salad that comes with asparagus and parmigiano reggiano. This was actually very good.
I would give other dishes a try on this menu. Though given that the tagliatelle is their signature, I would have expected it to be a bit better. Either way, this place is a convenient option for guests.
