Petit Palace Tres Cruces

Conozco este hotel desde hace muchos años.
Reformado varias veces desde su apertura en 2006.
Es un hotel de tres estrellas, de la cadena de hoteles Petit Palace Hoteles Hight Tech.
Su gran ventaja es el emplazamiento idílico en pleno centro de la capital, en una calle tranquila, perpendicular a la Gran Via y cerca de la Puerta del Sol.
Las habitaciones en general son de tamaño correcto, aunque en alguna ocasión si que nos tocó alguna que era demasiado pequeña, hasta para dos personas, pero en cuanto lo comentamos en recepción, hicieron todo lo posible para cambiarnos a otra más espaciosa.
El personal, es muy amable, y sonriente en todo momento.
A pesar de las reformas, que dan un aire muy moderno a las habitaciones, la entrada y la zona de desayuno, han sabido mantener el carácter del edificio de origen, sobre todo las escaleras de madera oscura, y la fachada.
Tienen a disposición ordenadores, y conexión wifi gratuita en todo el edificio. Recepción 24h.
El desayuno tipo buffet, es variado, pero normalito.
El hotel no dispone de parking propio, pero si que hacen un descuento para un parking que esta a 50m.
Aceptan mascotas.
Para un fin de semana en pareja o en familia, donde se quiera estar en pleno centro de Madrid, es una muy buena opción.
Los precios varían según la temporada, pero en general, son bastante competitivos comparados con los hoteles de la misma zona.
En conclusión un hotel moderno y con estilo, perfecto para quien quiere alojarse en pleno centro y poder visitar Madrid andando.

This is a middle of the road hotel I am guessing but above average on that. The chain has hotels placed all over the city and they are all different ad different stars. The location of this is good, down a side street and while on your first visit might be hard to find after that its easy. Breakfast is an extra 7 euro which is more expensive than others but the selection was excellent. There are 3 more within stones throwing distance. The prices vary on the time of the year and the rooms are different I was very lucky. I had a terrible experience in the hotel across the road and the reception staff and the manager went above and beyond to make my stay here amazing. I love the hotel, the room, the bathroom, everything. While I am not a fan of ultra modern it works especially in the bathroom. I will always use this hotel when I am in Madrid. Thank you if any of you read this. You saved my weekend. Madrid was not off to a good start but thanks to the staff I love the city now and will recommend it to everyone and this hotel to obviously.

Centrally located and cheap cell-​like rooms with a façade that will make you reconsider getting out of your cab. The street is quiet and steps from the Grand Via.
Breakfast is like being in Grand Central Station and options are mediocre; I was severely tempted to go to McDonald’s around the corner for a better experience in terms of food and ambiance. Beds are uncomfortable and pillows are dreadful. The shower is oddly lavish, with a complicated multi-​head shower contraption.
The bathroom is oddly large for the size of the room but the glass-​enclosed space offers little privacy.
Generally drab sort of scuzzy hotel that wasn’t quite bad enough to make us switch but we considered it.
