LL Bar

The guy who approached me to advertise this place was really, really nice (and could speak English and Italian!), and I wish he had been serving at the bar. The black haired and black mustached barman who talked to me looked like he wasn’t having a great night (understandable, it’s a stressful job) but when I asked him «Speak English?» he replied «No». I was like «Ok, here we go» and I asked him for a drinks menu, he said:-«We don’t have one. What do you want?». He was so abrupt that I was silent for a couple of seconds while I tried to think of an answer, and he rolled his eyes at me and went off. Seriously: screw you, man. I make an effort to speak your language and be nice to you and you treated me like you-​know-​what…
I give this place two stars instead of one because the drag show that was going on was great, for that this place deserves. But I pray to God you know Spanish well or that you know what you want to drink ahead of time.

Solía gustarme mucho cuando iba hace años. Ahora sólo voy de pascuas a ramos. Hasta arriba, escenario pequeño, mucha gente. Los shows de drag Queens no están mal, aunque a veces más ordinarios de lo necesario.

I am writing to give this place the benefit of the doubt because my friends and I experienced an issue here. It could be from miscommunication OR it could be from being swindled as a tourist.
This seems more of a local spot, and my friends and I were coaxed into this bar by a street hawker. This is pretty typical in Spain, especially Madrid. There are guys everywhere trying to lure you into their spot with promos. He gives us a promo card saying buy 3 drinks for 2, which seems like a nice deal. We go to the bar, but before ordering we ask the Manager if we need to orders all the drinks at once or will they keep tabs. The Manager says it is okay for us to order drinks one at a time. My friend and his bf order 2 drinks, and thought they would wait for the free 3^rd one later. Then upon ordering the final «free and 3^rd drink» they are told there is a charge. So we explain to the Manager that he confirmed this drink should be free, and he said no it is 2 euro for what is supposed to be a free drink. Luckily, I only ordered 1 and upon hearing what happened the rest of the group decided to cut our losses. I have attached the card for review, but BEWARE! Bring someone who speaks Spanish to avoid any issues. We did enjoy the entertainment though. Full frontal stripper nudity lol.

This is a little hole in the wall type of place located in the «gayborhood» of Madrid. It’s a little dance place but basically a comedy drag lip sync place predominately gay but with a few on the town straights and some girls out for a night with their best gay boyfriends.
It’s all standup, no tables of chairs, doesn’t get hopping until around midnight but friendly and can be a heck of a lot of fun.

La última vez que lo visité fue en una cena de navidad. Pasarás un buen rato viendo sus actuaciones, eso si, puede ser que según entres el travelo de turno hable de ti como si te conociera de toda la vida, sobre todo si eres mujer.
La música como tal es de lo peorcito, chochimusic como le denomino yo.
Lo peor que tiene este local es el espacio. Siempre hay un camarero mandando a la gente que acaba de entrar al fondo del garito, sabiendo de antemano que allí no se va a ver absolutamente nada del espectáculo. Algo bueno, pues que si has podido coger sitio cerca del escenario, le puedes pedir al tío que grita que se vaya la gente al fondo que te traiga la bebida allí mismo.
Si te agobian los espacios pequeños, mejor ni entres.

Te mueres de la risa. El sitio tiene 1 m2 y con un escenario minusculo, pero hay mil pantallas por todas partes donde se proyecta porno gay, conciertos de Madonna y lo que esté sucediendo en el
cámara que graba lo del escenario está colocada haciendo un plano mediopicado que parece que en vez de medio metro cuarado mide veinte hehehehehe, un delirio. Yo nunca pude bajar a lo que haya al final de las escaleras (es que no me dejan, y oye no me quejo, si el local fuera para que liguen las chicas tampoco yo les dejaría :)
Están las travestis mas fuertas, mayores y graciosas que te puedes encontrar. Yo estoy en un camino hacia la calma que me aturullo un poco en la noche, pero aquí, una vez al año…

Que este pub se encuentre en Chueca y que sea conocido por sus espectáculos de drag, streap y demás parafernalia, es un hecho constatable. Que sus iniciales «LL» signifiquen, como muchos aseguran, «Las Locas» pues bueno, eso ya que cada uno pase y vea.
Personalmente, este tipo de ambientes no es mi estilo, aunque sí es verdad que cuando uno acaba aquí después de beberse 3 cubatillas, pues oye, unas risas te echas, ya sea solamente por la parafernalia del asunto, o por el ambiente erotico-​festivo que siempre te arranca una sonrisilla.
Además es un sitio en el que siempre hay gente, sea el día que sea (gracias a los cuales tenemos nuestra fama de fin de semana eterno), ahora bien, por su música no creo que sea…
Por las cabinas que hay en los baños…
