Normalerweise gibt ein Waschsalon wenig für eine Bewertung her. Die Preise waren im Rahmen, die Klamotten schnell gewaschen und getrocknet. Sauber waren sie auch und gefehlt hat nix. Erwähnenswert wäre höchstens noch, dass man am besten passendes Münzgeld mitbringt und die Textilien nach Beendigung der Waschprozedur selbst zusammen legt. Dieses Programm kann man auch in diesem Waschsalon haben. Dann beendet man seinen Bericht mit vier Sternen an dieser Stelle.
Bringt man jedoch ein bisschen Zeit (und vermutlich ausreichende Spanischkenntnisse) mit, dann wird der Besuch zu einem Erlebnis. Hat der ca. 75-​jährige Betreiber nämlich einmal Zutrauen gefasst, berichtet er gerne und ausführlich über sein buntes Leben. Der Waschsalon ist nur Broterwerb, eigentlich ist er Künstler mit Leib und Seele. Zahlreiche seiner sehenswerten Werke hängen in dem Laden, der daher eigentlich weniger Waschsalon als vielmehr Galerie ist. Fesselnde Geschichten über Lateinamerika und den Rest der Welt lassen die Wartezeit im Nu vergehen!

Tuve el gran placer de conocer a Gastón, una persona extraordinaria el cual me atendió como si fuese un amigo muy cercano al que no había visto hace mucho tiempo, le comenté que fui a su lavandería porque había visto muy buenas recomendaciones en el Internet sobre su negocio, El no estaba al tanto de estas recomendaciones por lo cual le pedí su computadora prestada y le traduje los comentarios que las personas habían puesto sobre él, se puso tan emocionado que hasta lloro. En este viaje a Madrid recordaré muchas cosas bonitas pero sé que nunca me olvidare de el señor Gastón que me hizo sentir como en casa!!!

Gastón, the owner, is easily one of the most interesting people I have met in my life. He is a 74 year old painter with a free spirit, open mind, and a kind heart. The typical business owner is very serious but Gastón is very easy going and knows a lot of world history. If you are traveling and are looking for a quick wash, this is the place to go. The bonus is that (if you speak a little spanish) you can sit and hang out with Gastón for hours because he has over a thousand paintings he can show you. This was hands down the coolest, most interesting experience I have ever had at a laundromat. If you are in a rush you can drop your things off and he will handle the work for you. If you have time, sit down and talk to this guy while you wait for your clothes because you will never forget your experience. Thank you Gastón for the help. Cheers my friend!

Great place to get laundry washed while on vacation in Madrid. As the other reviewers mentioned, the owner is very nice. My husband brought our laundry here and had a pleasant experience with the owner. The owner washed and dried the clothes and spent time chatting with my husband about various topics. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to wash your clothes! For $ 8 euros you can do one load, wash & dry. The owner is very nice, speaks a bit of English. The entire wash & dry cycle takes an hour. You can leave & come back to pick up your laundry. There is a supermarket nearby that sells fresh fruit cups, salads, sandwiches. The owner is an artist and has his paintings on the walls. He is open 7 days a week. If he isn’t there, wait a few minutes. He might be getting something at the store.

Self serve sort of, the owner has coins and detergent, you pay him. He’s nice and he’s on site if you want to grab food. Fast machines– see my tip.
