La Parisiena 2

Came here for a quick bite on our first afternoon in Madrid. It’s a regular café with seating outside (though it’s right by an intersection and there’s a lot of cars). Some of the outside seats are enclosed to be blocked from bad weather. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful for us! Be advised that the menu prices are higher if you sit outside — but I think this is the same for the majority of the cafes/​restaurants in Madrid.
The waiter approached us quickly — it’s not in a Central location and not many people speak English, so put your Spanish tongue to use! We ordered waters and bocadillos (french style bread sandwiches) with salami and ham. Nothing special but it filled us up for a few hours as we strolled through Parque de Retiro.

Lo bueno que tiene este bar es la terraza, ya que está en plena plaza de Mariano de Cavia, y es bastante grande, por lo que siempre vas a encontrar sitio.
Tranquilamente te puedes tomar tu cañita al fresquito, ya que tiene bastante árboles y casi siempre da la sombra, por lo que en días de calor se está muy a gusto.
Eso sí, no esperes un gran aperitivo, ya que te van a poner un plano con patas fritas y poco más, ya que no suelen ser muy generosos con el aperitivo.
Tienen menú diario que no está mal, ya que tienes tres primeros y tres segundo a elegir por 9.80 euros, y 11 euros si es en la terraza, y el trato es agradable
