We went to Il Nonno attracted by high reviews here, which will hopefully moderate going forward. The food was mediocre. The service was very unpleasant. The fact that they do not know English even a tiny bit is more or less ok in Spain, but why bring espresso ahead of the meal if I didn’t ask for this?.. And in the end of all, they added some 3 euro line in the bill that we did not have and consequently had to challenge with the(again non-English speaking) waiter.

Il Nonno is an excellent little restaurant with a good selection of wines and extremely well prepared food. We tried several pizzas, pastas, risottos… always well served and delicious — all for a fair price. We frequently get back.
