Hotel Ibis Styles Madrid Prado

After being walked from the Westin Palace, this hotel is okay.
The front office staff, Carmen, was very friendly. She always had a smile on her face.
The common area was very inviting with the complimentary computer usage. The magazines were rather old (from 2005).
The sleeping rooms were actually very nice with Prego Flooring. The room was very quiet. Didn’t hear any outside noise which is a plus.
My big issue… trying to use an electric beard trimmer will blow the fuse. Not just in my room … on the entire floor. After that experience, I was having problems the the tv. The front office and engineering staff trying to resolve this issue (and they did) really didn’t set well with me.
Overall, this hotel is ok.

Spent a night there in February and found it pretty good. It is in a nice central location, with nice restaurants and bars nearby. I only had a single room and although not luxurious it was comfortable enough for me. Simple and friendly hotel.
