One of the best woks I’ve ever been. The food is awesome, the service aswell and the place is bright, spacious, clean and defenetly I love this place. I really recomend it. And about the price is perfect if you bear in mind the quality. You can choose different types of pasta(rice, wheat, thick, thin) and also different sauces such as soya, coconut milk, peanut…

M asked me if I mind going with them to go get a wok. I said, it doesn’t matter and when we walked to the storefront, I finally realized I misunderstood what M was asking me. P wanted to get some food from here and I scoffed at the idea of getting Chinese food in Spain. M advised that P loves the food here and P used to work at El Bulli, so who am I to judge and decided to eat some food from P’s and M’s order. P and M got some sort of noodles with marcona almonds — they’re okay, but I definitely wish the noodles had some kick. The empandas(pot stickers) — I ate a lot of these and I am not sure what exactly I ate that got me sick, but perhaps it was this place or the night before or the morning before this meal… whatever it was, but following the empanadas — I threw up 7 times that day and I was dying. Pot stickers — they lacked flavour and I miss the Asian food back home.

I usually pass this wok establishment on my way home and always I have avoided it thinking it is part of the chain ‘Wok to Walk’ which I tried once and hated. A friend though informed me that they are not the same. Truth. I was feeling a bit lazy and walked in to order take out so I wouldn’t have to cook lunch. Though relatively empty at around 1:30 p.m. I have seen this place packed. Timing is everything. A small store front you can walk in and be seated to eat or order directly at the counter for take away. They have several types of offerings from different types of noodles(tallarines) to rice. You can order a basic dish(noodles or rice) for 3.90 € and add meat(chicken, beef, shrimp) for an extra fee 1.50−1.80 €. The noodles are complemented with a heap of vegetables from broccoli, peppers, onions, etc and egg. The chef woks up your order and in no time you have a huge and satisfying meal in a box. Though a bit on the greasy side I enjoyed it and would definitely have a quick lunch here again. Plus the customer service was excellent and the staff even speaks some English. You can also call ahead your order for pick up.
