I’d probably have to give this place 3 – 4 for the food and 1 for the service so 2.5 would be a fair rating.
The guac and chips plus the carnitas with veges were quite tasty for an airport option that is never going to be super authentic but everything tasted pretty fresh and I guess in a country with so much sun, vegetables and avocados are abundant so great to see some healthy options on the side of your plate! This all came to 20 Euros which was ok as I was totally stuffed!
But apart from the chef who was very friendly, the 2 servers were dismissive, rude and just generally didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. I spent ages queueing and they just stared at customers without serving them, pretending to clean up when they were clearly not doing anything — then the woman wouldn’t let me photograph the food trying to imply it was illegal — then she kept staring at me across the room while I was trying to eat my meal — really weird and not that pleasant at all! Good food, but go and sit on the opposite side of the airport canteen area.
