This is the second time we have been to La Regadera and both times it has been a really nice escape from the otherwise so touristy Gran Canaria. The food is really nice, the service is great, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant is fresh and modern looking. Next time we go to Las Palmas we’ll be sure to go again.

The Calle Rui de Alda used to be quite a busy street congested with traffic and recently have closed it off which made it quite nice for restaurants/bars in the area to set up tables outside. La Regadera was one of the newest restaurants in the area so decided to join a group with a family friend to check out some of the dishes. We wanted to try a number of dishes so ordered several things to share amongst 10 people. Too many to list but everything we had there’s a photo and description. Everything was delicious and compared to the other more traditional Canarian restaurants in the area, there is a bit of a modern twist — such as the black papas arrugadas. Also if you’re more of the atmospherey type of person, this place is nice and bright — with a nice homey feel to it with the furniture. Most restaurants in LP feel like they’ve been around for a long time — which gives it a nice charm but if you’re looking for a new and fresh place, definitely check out La Regadera.
