After a wonderful visit to Costers del Siurana winery, we drove a short distance into Gratallops and enjoyed a mid afternoon feast. It was clean, cool and felt very contemporary considering we were in the middle of Priorat and a 13th century village. Simple, elegant chef’s menu — everything was splendid. Catalonian food can be remarkable and this was no exception — augmented by a bottle of the amazing Clos de lÓbac 2002. Highly recommended. Gentle vibes of an old village, quiet, refined, friendly. Good stuff.
