Il Gondoliere

This was quite possibly the most bizarre dining experience we’ve ever had.
We arrived around 1930 — place was empty. Very few tables had guests and we were escorted to some back area. Sat for 15 minutes before anyone realized we were there and brought menus /​took drink requests.
Food comes eerily fast.
(I think I read that in another review — it in fact does!)
Appetizer was the caprese, shared by the table. It was good.
Dinner was good as well — no complaints from anyone.
At this point the restaurant is starting to fill up … in fact, it’s so packed that we barely squeeze through the main dining room to get out.
So why was this experience bizarre? The service is incredibly impersonal, which is just bad. Our waiter basically disappeared and never came back (no new drinks, no dessert for the kids as a part of their kids meal); I had to grab another waitress to ask for the check; the gal who brought our check was more involved in the phone conversation she was having in her ear piece to want to chat about our meal (or anything at all, for that matter).
The restaurant itself looks like some sort of NYC night club — not a very comfortable atmosphere.
Not someplace we’d go back to on our own, but we’d be fine meeting friends here.

La comida no está mal pero el hecho de que no incluyan el IVA en la carta me parece un vergonzoso, la verdad. Espero que lo solucionen.

Great food… great prices! Service was fabulous and everyone was so pleasant. I recommend this restaurant highly!!!

Uno de los mejores Italianos que te puedes encontrar. Fantástica cocina, muy creativa y bien elaborada. Presentación impecable. Y el servicio es una maravilla, rápido y muy atento. Cuando huelva a Granada repito sin duda.

Pasamos de casualidad buscando otro restaurante, que estaba cerrado así que decidimos comer aquí. La decoración preciosa, muy cuidada y moderna. La atención de los camareros exquisita. El muchacho que nos atendió fue un auténtico profesional y nos trató de manera muy agradable. Y sin duda, lo mejor de todo la comida. Pizza, anti pasta… Rico de verdad. Comida muy elaborada y exquisita. En los postres recomiendo encarecidamente los profiteroles… Riquísimos!!!

Great food, service and decoration. The food is pricey but its totally worth it. The decoration is very fancy an it had kinda of a lounge feel to it. We ordered the pizza, the solomillo and the fish.
All of it was wonderful except one of the pizzas had melted white plastic in it. We told the waiter and he brought a better pizza in 5min apologizing for the accident. The waiter also brought us a little champagne for the trouble.
It was my birthday so they played the birthday song on the speakers and brought me a little pastry.
The waiter was very dear and helpful. It’s a wonderful place. If you are passing by Granada it’s a MUST GO restaurant.

Whilst craving Italian food in between sangria-​and-​tapas stops, my sister and I stumbled across this slightly strange but tasty place by happy accident.
The Good: humongous menu of about 30 pizzas and 30 pasta dishes to choose from so you’re guaranteed to find a combination of toppings you like. Good value with most mains under € 10 and they’re not stingy on portions — my sister’s calzone was bigger than her face and the ends extended over the edges of the plate and out closer to the edges of the table. It all arrived eerily speedily too.
The Bizarre: the place is about 3 times bigger than it needs to be, so even has 2 different entrances. This made it all the more strange that they had so many waiters, in fact probably more waiters than customers for most of our meal. There’s outdoor tables all set up too, but instead of being right outside on the main road they’re around the corner, so impossible to serve and opposite a load of wheely bins which may explain why no one sat there. They were also projecting old black-​and-​white Laurel and Hardy episodes onto the back wall which I found slightly odd but hey, each to their own!
The sis and I liked it anyway — and were v glad of the walk home after that giant calzone…

Las reservas no valen. No te guardan mesa. Conforme llegas te sientan, asi que no vale reservar. La comida esta bien, pero nada del proyecto jueves. Salsas muy pesadas, aunque están bien.

Como lo han dicho por ahi, se esta convirtiendo en una especie de sitio pseudoromantico para jóvenes, gracias a sus buenos precios y buena calidad. Esta bien para cuando necesitas un sitio apañao para comer y no te quieres comer mucho la cabeza

La comida riquísima, buen servicio y el local muy agradable y acogedor. Buena relación calidad-​precio. Viéndolo parece que te van a dar la clavada del mes, pero qué va, tienen precios ajustados. Si vuelvo a Granada, espero volver allí, pero mejor a comer, que cenando luego no hay quien se vaya a la cama.

la relación calidad precio es muy buena, lo recomiendo en día de diario, evitable en fin de semana porque se llena en exceso y si no te gustan los barullos es mejor no ir.
la pasta es buenísima

Il Gondoliere es uno de los restaurantes más emblematicos de Granada, y donde su visita es obligada si eres un apasiado de las pizzas.
El resturante cuenta con una exquisita decoración y un servicio de lo más atento y eficiente.
Su carta es mágica y sabrosa, donde elegir la comida resulta una tarea jarto complicada, lo que invita a volver más de una vez.
Su precio es bastante ajustado a la calidad que ofrece.

La comida está muy buena, sobretodo las pizzas, si consigues acabártela eres todo un campeón, aunque tampoco vayais de valientes porque salir de ahi y meterte directamente en la cama es peligroso!!!

Muy buena, servicio aceptable, bastantes camareros, siempre sonrientes. El precio no es nada malo, por 30 € comen dos personas agusto. De hay su exito.
