Very friendly, very cozy, and very proud of the local products. All very good. Free excellent tapas with each round. Best tapas of our time in Granada.

A cozy little shop/tapas bar. I wouldn’t come here with a group bigger than 3 or 4. All of the food and wine/beer you order comes right off their shelves. Every plate we got(including the free tapas per drink) were delicious. The lomo(beef) was really really tasty. I think we will come here often, since it’s located right by our apartment in Granada! The servers spoke English as well and were very friendly and willing to let you sample things.

Definitely a lovely grocery store but it is a reach to call it a wine bar. The reviews here brought us in but when we arrived at 1015 they were so weeded that they tried to send us away. They explained that we could only get something very simple because the girl cooking was overwhelmed and was leaving at 11. They were nice enough about it but also managed to convey that our presence was a problem. My wife had walked downhill over cobblestones in the rain on a bad ankle to get there so we stuck it out. We were basically told we could only order grilled cheese. The ham and asparagus one contained bottled asparagus and the other was what a grad student with only a hot plate might prepare for his girlfriend if she dropped in unexpectedly late at night. The food here is an afterthought… the girl cooking seemed like an amateur and was buried in tins, Tupperware, plates, wedges of cheese, etc. No mise en place, no help, no room to work = rough nights. I wish them well but should have gone elsewhere to eat.

This is a lovely little wine bar where the service is consistently friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is really relaxed and there is always good music in the background. The tapas that I’ve had here have been delicious — good range of vegan options if you ask. Some places in Calle Elvira are downright grotty, but don’t lose heart if you’re in the area as this place is worth seeking out. They also have a great selection of beers and sell groceries.

sympathique petite épicerie vendant des produits bio et proposant des petits plats mijotés sur place. Plats originaux et délicieux pouvant être finement accompagnés par des vins bio. Très bon service et addition raisonnable. On né demande qu’à y retourner.

An elegant little grocery and tiny restaurant, if definitely an adventure in ‘that’s not what I expected’. I readily admit my Spanish is spotty at best, so I cannot well complain when the dishes received are a little different than imagined and everything here was quite tasty regardless. There was a bit of a muddle over what had been ordered by whom when our server– a lovely woman, had to leave and a gentleman took over our table, but everything was resolved easily enough. I specifically recommend getting a round of the queso almendra to take home. This ‘almond cheese’ is much like marzipan, but less sweet and after having the queso almendra y manzana mille-feuille [more a concept than an actual mille-feuille, se above about surprises] for dessert, I had to have more for later. The produce is excellent, if a narrow selection which is reasonable for a tiny shop, and the larger collection of shelf stable items like jams and wines and such are excellent. We are still enjoying a delightful bottle of gin purchased there, which they kindly allowed us to sample some of before buying, especially as we had already had lunch and drinks.

We found this place on TripAdvisor and as it had good reviews, decided to try it out. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went back twice more during our short stay in Granada. The wine and beer were great, the tapas delicious and the staff really professional and very passionate about the store and everything in it. If you are in Granada, you have to try this place. Simply fabulous.

I tracked this lovely place, situated right by the Elvira Gate, down via friends on Twitter. It’s an essential place to visit if you are a lover of the fine food, wine and craft beer that is produced in this region but which can be hard to find in the typical bars and restaurants of Granada. It’s also one of the very few places I found which sells fresh milk. A combination of a shop and café, it has a few tables where you can have a drink and a snack or a meal. It’s by no means the cheapest place in town but as the man says«you pay your money and you take you choice» — quality never does come cheap in my experience. I was keen to try some of the local craft beer which I had heard about and the very friendly and knowledgable staff pointed me in the direction of couple of excellent brews. If wine is your thing there is an excellent selection which you can try by the glass; all of which can be bought and taken away to enjoy in the comfort of your abode. I’m looking forward to my next visit already …

I am sad it took me a few months to stumble upon this place, but I was so happy I did! The wine selection is awesome and the tapas are great as well. Very much worth it!

Fantastic grocer/tapas bar combo located just past the Elvira gate at the entrance of old town. Like a miniaturized and localized Whole Foods with organic cheeses, meats, jams, and wines from regions around Spain. The food they serve is delicious and ingredients are taken right off the shelf from what they sell. Try the acorn fed jamon!
