Sushi La Riba

Una estrella por las vistas. Comida horrible. Servicio malo. el arrebozado de la tempura te hace entrar arcadas. Además de tener poca gente sirven lentos y sin cuidar al cliente. Un restaurante así no debería gozar de tal ubicación.

We were wandering around old Girona with stomachs starting to grumble and stumbled on La Riba in one corner of the Plaça de la Independència.
Sushi? Girona’s about 10 miles from the Mediterranean so we gave it a shot.

Not a huge menu. This is the take-​out menu posted outside, but the dine-​in wasn’t too much larger (
). We ordered some nigiri, a croquette dish, and a sauteed baby squid dish.

The bowl they give for mixing your soy sauce and wasabi (at least that’s what we assumed it was brought for) was oddly deep and awkward (
)
The baby squid was awful (
). It was inedibly salty. The waiter said they would redo it and the next rendition was better, but still very salty. We ate less than half.
