The portions are small but the food was very tasty and delicious. The prices were reasonable. Most of the items were 17 – 20 € for the main dish which is much less that you would pay for a similar quality food in the US. The place looks nice and clean with a twist of contemporary design.

Haute cuisine in Girona? Absolutely! Okay okay, it’s no Can Roca(but what is?). Nu is pretty danged outstanding all the same. Great menu, fresh food, very modern approach to technique. Steak tartare is highly recommended, but order a second app with it. Or else three entrees for two people. Great wines from a short list, but still superbly priced. Sì, very very good food here. Go, but make a reservation. Event early in the night it goes quickly. They don’t rotate tables so as long as you’re locked in, the table is yours.

A beautiful modern-style and trendy place, where waiters are so carrying and cook is so delightful. If there is one place you should go(not talking about the 3* Can della Roca or of other 1* in Girona which appears as the heart of the Spanish cooking!), it is here. You may see one of the chiefs finalizing the plates in front of you, you’ll enjoy perfect recieps and have a great time. Everything is perfect. We enjoyed a Cod loin on a bed of escalivada(roast onions, auberginies and peppers) with Romesco emulsion, a Wagyu beef hamburger with vegetables and a poached egg and 2 Glasses of jijona nougat, almonds milk and chocolate ice cream. The presentation and the tastes are terrific and you have enough in the plate. You’ll spend great time. One advice is to call to make a reservation, which absolutely necessary for evening. The menu is in all languages(but we haven’t seen any other tourists). There’s a degustation menu(45 €) which semt delicious. Otherwise the prices are more than reasonable(17 € for a plate, 8 – 11 € for a starter, 6 € for a dessert). Try it, you won’t regret it. NB: be careful with the GPS and google mpas which is surprisingly incapable to locate it properly.
