The waitress was rude and no service would come upon us. She told to sit down so we can get service and no service showed up for 20+ minutes so we left to the café across the way

very basic café at the cordoba train station that sells coffee, tea, sodas, bottled water, sandwiches and tapas. note the word«basic» in that the selection is pretty sparse here, so i would not recommend coming here if you have something very specific in mind for your snack/meal. hubby and i had just gotten off a train and were quite hungry, so we decided to drop in here for a very quick bite before continuing our journey. there was ample seating inside the café, with cushioned chairs and booths, away from the hustle and bustle of the main train station, although you could see everyone and everything that went on through the clear floor-to-ceiling windows. there was also a dedicated wc next to the seating area, so we did not have to walk to the other end of the train station to use the station toilets. hubby had a bocadillo with jamon(iberian ham) and i had one with chicken curry. the size of the sandwiches was not big, and taste was just average, certainly not worth the € 11+ that we paid. but hey, this is the train station, where they gotta account for the supply and demand, so what can you do? note: the waitress/cashier did not speak english, but good thing her handwriting was clear so that i could see the numbers on my bill!
