El Xaco Petit

Excellent experience!
We had some very good seafood, in a lovely setting, served by a very friendly staff… what more can you ask for?
I have little to no recollection of what we had because I didn’t do the ordering. I was an invited guest of a friend who has been coming here for years. She loves her seafood — and says this is THE BEST in town.
What I do remember:
The mussels — normally I don’t like mussels — these were very good. Steamed with just a few flavorings, and simply served in their shells on a white plate.
These really tiny white worm-​like things were also good. served in a bowl in a garlicky sauce (went great with the bread!).
We also shared a whole fish (again, no clue as to what kind) that was served atop a perfectly cooked bed of potatoes.
Eating at Xaco was a real treat, and if offered again, I’d say yes.
