El Toro

El Toro is Calpe’s premier steak house specializing in North American Black Angus Beef. Visited twice during our stay in July 2013. Enrico was the most friendly waiter, and we met him again on our second visit, when he was their with his wife and having a meal too. So if the staff eat at the same palce they work, got to have something about the place.

Can’t fault the food nor the service. You have to get the attention of the staff sometimes, but that’s only because they are so busy. Once you have they are very attentive.
Air Conditioned, Children’s Menu, Disabled Facilities, Limited Parking, but street parking normally OK, if not competing with the church.
Highly recommend the fillet steak, and the spare ribs. The children’s menu is equally good.
