Hotel Miró

This hotel could not be in a better location if you’re visiting the Guggenheim and the central area. It is, however, a bit of a hike if the old town is your preference.
The lobby sitting area is very welcoming, even if the staff is not particularly so. It includes a bar area that has juices, water, coffee, tea and snacks available for guests at all times, with a comfortable reading area. There are no valets or bellmen to assist with luggage. This is purely a very nice «tourist class» hotel.
The main thing to know about is the rooms. They are very nicely and modernly decorated. BUT, just remember, if you get a room facing the front of the hotel, you’ll have a very nice view of the museum and will likely be happy, and if get one in the back, you’ll be facing into a building and you’ll most certainly be unhappy.

This hotel has basic accomodations. My room was small and the furnishing was functional though nothing fancy. Everything was clean. I liked their self serve breakfast and snacks in the lobby bar area. The hotel is across the street and just a few paces from the Guggenheim. Very convenient. I’d stay here again.

the location is terrific. however the rooms are very small, the breakfast lacking, the rates high and most importantly the staff was rude.

This hotel is the perfect location for art lovers coming to Bilbao as it is between the Guggenheim and the Fine Arts Museum. The prices were very reasonable and you can even get a 20% if you book 60 days prior to arrival.
The room was very modern with a low bed, marble shower and a leather couch/​window seat that had a great view of the Guggenheim.
The room service tapas menu was reasonable and actually pretty good. The breakfast buffet was very overpriced (15 euros for continental breakfast.) They do have a hospitality lounge with one of those fancy coffee makers and a fridge full of drinks.
There are a few people on staff that speak English but not everyone does so brush up on some simple phrases and you will be okay.
I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Bilbao.

Hotel de cuatro estrellas cerca al casco urbano de Bilbao. La playa está a unos 20 – 25 kilómetros.
La habitación era muy discreta, cómoda, bien equipada hasta el más mínimo detalle. Todo muy limpio y cuidado.
El servicio fue muy simpático, nos fuimos contentos con el trato recibido.
Tienen gimnasio y zona SPA.
El desayuno fue bastante buena, buffet libre con poca variedad pero a decir verdades lo poco que habia estaba muy bueno.

Pequeñito, pero muy acojedor, os lo recomiendo, aunque deberían mejorar el restaurante, sólo tienen algunos platos combinados y similares.

Das DesignHotel in Sichtweite des Guggenheim Museum Bilbao hat uns gefallen. Es liegt zentral, ideal für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, das Personal, insbesondere die Rezeption war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und lecker, es war für jeden etwas dabei, eine gute Grundlage für den Tag. Abends treffen sich nicht nur Hotelgäste in der Bar bei Tapas und tollen Drinks.
