La Tapería

El menú deja bastante que desear más aún por lo que cuesta 16.95. Lo único bueno la música de fondo tranquila y la decoración.
De primero pedimos los gabones al ajillo, curioso que no estuvieran pelados aparte el tamaño era mini y flojillos casi diría que eran gambita.
De segundo pedimos entrecot también bastante malo, pequeño con mucho nervio…
El vino covagota igual de flojo que el menú incluso más.
El postre tarta prefabricada o helado.
Para no repetir al menos de menú, a este precio se espera bastante más.

Bar de tapas del centro de benidorm, solo he estado una vez y volveré seguro. La comida no es distinta de lo que se ofrece por la zona, son todo tapitas o pinchos porque son restaurantes y bares estilo «vascos» pero el servicio es espléndido, un ocho y medio.
Te saludan desde que pones un pie en la puerta, te aconsejan, ofrecen varios productos, recomiendan lo que más les gusta a ellos y son muy simpáticos.
Si quieres tomar un pincho en un ambiente agradable y simpático, aquí puedes ir seguro.

I have had menu del dia 3 times in La Taperia restaurant in Benidorm. The last time was my daughter’s 25^th birthday celebration. The service was disgusting.
— we were not offered small tasters as we had been previously
— our plates were very small compared to the Spanish diners for exactly the same dish
— when we asked for our bill we had been over-​charged for wine.
There were 5 adults. The manager said we could only have one drink per person. yet in 30 years of dining in spain we have always had ½ bottle of wine per person. Despite that he tried to charge us Euros10 for the second bottle of wine AND extra for the waters we had.
We fully understand you get ½ a bottle of wine OR water OR whatever. this guy was simply ripping off tourists.
The staff treated us very very badly and I told them I was going to describe in detail the experience in internet review sites unless the complaint was resolved.
We have been visiting Spain for 30 years and this is the only time we have ever been treated badly. We felt the staff were being dishonest with us and deliberately over-​charging because we were tourists.
in the end I paid the correct amount, left, and suggested they call the police!!!
