If you’re looking for a sophisticated and elegant day/​evening out this is not it.
Cheap and Cheerful is just like it says on the tin. I think you’d be hard pushed to find better value food and drink in the area. The staff are friendly and remember your name and your drink preferences if you visit more than a couple of times. It’s not unusual to have the person at the next table strike up a conversation with you about something or other. It has a nice friendly vibe. The toilet facilities are very clean however busy they get.
The indoor seating is less comfortable than I’d like, and the noise level can be a bit high inside the bar when it is full of people. That’s why it loses a star.
