Not good at all… Till now we have ordered 3 – 4 times hoping to get some actual taste of Indian cuisine but it had disappointed me every time and We felt it’s not worth the money. Though the service is good but the taste of food is not authentic Indian taste.

Not very good Indian food. Entire food looked stale and just reheated in oven. Masala chai was not fresh at all, and wasn’t even correctly made. It was very milky. Chicken curry was sweat. Baigan Bharta was floating in oil. Naan were one of those frozen ones that clearly looked reheated in oven. Waiters were dry and not-so-friendly!

The ambiance is nice. The food is interesting, it is not like any Indian I have had in the past. The chicken tikka masala was sweet, and more of a chunky tomato base than a creamy tomato base. The palak paneer was good not overly salty. The chicken madras was tasty not as spicy as most. They may go lighter on spices here to please more tourist.

Gluten free friendly and very tasty! Good size portions too! Service was quick and friendly. We ate outside with quite a few other people and we’re pleased about how clean the general area was. ATMs are close too. Good food!

One of the worst dining experiences I have had in my life. In Barcelona for a business trip, I decided to go for the nearest high rated indian restaurant and chose Sitara. The food was quick to arrive and tasted average at best. However midway down my meal something metallic touched my tongue — there was a staple pin in the dal! I called for the manager on duty and showed him the pin; he immediately took the plate with him to the kitchen. I asked him for the plate as I wanted to take a picture of the pin to put it up in the review. On hearing my intention to log this event, he actually grabbed my arm and pushed me out of the restaurant. He was immediately joined by 3 – 4 of other waiters and cooks at the door and they started hurling abuses. Leave aside customer service, this restaurant has no regard for basic humanity. The owner needs to seriously reconsider cleanliness in the kitchen and the kind of people they have hired to run this restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Barcelona, if not the number one, taking into account that there are good Indian restaurants in the city, some of which I have already tried too. I have been at Sitar 4 or 5 times and everything is delightful. The staff is very nice and prices are very affordable too and if you make your reservation on line through you get a 30% off. If you like Indian cuisine, Sitar is a must.

Great food, friendly staff, and quick service! Butter chicken is delish although a little sweet and need to order rice a la carte. Must be a Spanish thing. Lol. Biryani was fantastic. Went around 10:30 on Thursday night and served right away.

Glad to have been recommended this new restaurant. Traveling abroad alone can get a bit lonely. Being Indian, I knew this place would be a warm welcome to the traditional Indian roots and would be surrounded by brown folks… felt like home! The food was tasty however did lacked the spiciness that is accustom with a traditional Indian mean. Ordered the palak paneer, veggie naan, fried veggies, and a mango lassi on day 1. Day 2: Samosas and mixed veggie rice that came with a dal. I recommend sitting outside and ideal time to go is after 10pm.
