We just wrapped up dinner here and I am obsessed. We tried probably half of the tapas on the menu, along with the red wine sangria and the secret mojito. Everything was outstanding, and I was equally impressed by the service. We are only in Spain for a week but I’m willing to bet we will be back to try the amazing looking pizzas.

We went to this restaurant the first night of our visit to Barcelona. The food was okay, but the server was a somewhat confrontational to a gentleman in our party. That first night, I went upstairs to go to the bathroom and noticed that the atmosphere up there was quite nice, so I made a mental note to return on another night to have dinner upstairs. Several nights later, I returned with three other people and we headed upstairs to try and get a table. To the best of our knowledge, this was a self-seating restaurant. When we got to the top of the stairs, we were approached by an incredibly rude and irritable waitress who proceeded to scold us for having the audacity to come upstairs to ask for a table. She barked at us to go downstairs and request to be seated by the hostess. In fact her words(with a head bob and finger point) were as followed: «Uh…normally when you enter a restaurant… you smile nicely and ask to be seated…» She then turned abruptly and stormed away. We stood there absolutely stunned, our jaws dropped at how unnecessarily rude this waitress was. We then watched as she bent over the wall to yell something down to another employee on the first floor. We then walked downstairs and attempted to talk to the manager(who I think was the one that she yelled down to), she just smiled and talked over us, only repeating«its okay, its okay». She did not listen to a word of what we were saying. We finally gave up and just left the restaurant. We went across the street to The Attic restaurant where we were immediately welcomed with a big smile by the hostess at the front door. Our company trip to Barcelona included about 70 people, all staying across the street at Le Meridian Hotel. Needless to say, we spread the word about the treatment we received at Luzia Restarant and advised all to beware of the rude service. All I can say is BADBUSINESS.

This place is the lol. We ordered the tapas shrimp chichiron, tapas tuna belly, duck salad, burrata pizza and mozzarella and fresh ham pizza. Mouth watering! And to end it with a melt in your mouth moist brownie. I love to bake and am picky with my desserts. My brownies have been one of the best and they have topped me.

This place is so awesome. When you don’t know where to eat, or what you want to eat in s bustling location such as las rambles, this is a go to. It has everything you need from sushi, to Italian to Spanish tapas flare and everything prepared very well. We ordered the pizza, the tuna appetizer and the pimentos de padron which I was addicted to while traveling through Spain. The sangria was also delicious and the wine flows and is cheap. We loved the place so much that we ate there twice while staying in Barca.

First time at Luzia. Food was excellent. I had a tagliolini«Cipriani» with cherry tomatoes, dried tomatoes, pesto something else that can’t recall at this moment. In one sentence, that’s a tasty tagliolini you have. I also had a cup of green tea. Menus are also in English. When the waiter has taken your order, don’t forget to ask for some bread, because she might forget to bring that for you. That’s one minor point, but I’m willing to forgive her, because she was very friendly. You don’t have to wait very long for your food to be brought to you. The place is very inviting and nicely decorated. There is a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and having fun while doing their job. The odds are high that Luzia and I will meet again during the rest of our stay here. In short, I would highly recommend this place to others. P. S. The woman that seated us and that wore a red shirt that evening could have been a model… :sigh

Have eaten here 3 X in the last week. The service is friendly and good though getting the check can take a bit. That I have found is the case in most restaurants in Barcelona. The best pizza I’ve had in Spain is their Sundried tomato, basil and burrata. Love this place!

If I lived in Barcelona, I would eat here often. The food was fresh and creative. The creative mix of ingredients resulted in a wonderful dining experience. The food was so good that we ended up ordering an encore of main courses. The tour guide books that we read said not to eat near La Rambla; however, they are clearly wrong when it comes to this restaurant.

Okay place for a casual lunch or dinner. Nothing special. Pretty bland menu and slow service. Open decently late so fine if you need a midnight snack. Definitely a nice looking place with a cool look and feel, especially the upstairs.

When we went for dinner, we had a good meal; but it wasnt anything too amazing(hence my previous 3 star review). However, once we went for breakfast? They shot up to a full 5 stars. They offer fresh juices!(the carrot, apple, ginger one was incredible); they have the best cortado in Barcelona, and their breakfast offerings are all delicious. We came here for breakfast 3 different mornings; its THAT good. Plus, they were located on the same block as our hotel which made the convenience unbeatable. If I am ever back in Barcelona this place is definitely on my list for breakfast. They have more healthy options than anywhere else we went to and the service was always great. Highly recommend.

This was my favorite spot in barcelona when it came to dinner. I will admit when i first walked it, i stood there for 10 minutes and did not get acknowledged once. i left to try and find some place else in the area to eat since me and my friend were starving, with no success we wound up returning a little while later and im glad we did. We were sat immediately and started off with a large pitcher of white sangria what had tons of fruit in it. it was delicious. We ordered patatas bravas, muscles and the rosemary foccacia to start. there was a very reasonable amount of muscles and the foccacia was large in size as well. We also wound up splitting the arugula pizza which was very good. Our waitress was so adorable and altho she didnt speak much english, she was very ontop of everything and as helpful as she could be. It would be cool for them to open a location in NYC. id go… alot.

Perfect afternoon break. We popped in after a day of sightseeing because it is so close to the Meridien. The service was great and the place has a cool vibe. I highly recommend the pizza to share. Crispy crust and fresh taste. We sat downstairs as we were between the main service times but upstairs seems nice also. Delicious coffee and pastry for dessert too!

After our trip to Paris and not enjoying the food there as much, the food at this place in Barcelona was much needed! I have to say the service was very slow(compared to others we went to in Barcelona) but the food was great. Very conveniently located since we stayed at Le Meridien across the street. The pizza was our favorite dish to order there.

Really cool restaurant. 30 minute wait built the anticipation for the food to come. Amazing sangria de cava… You absolutely have to order this. We ordered two fillet steaks but lost in translation resulted in a poor fatty steak, sent it back and received a more cooked poor steak. Through further discussion the chef understood the error and provided complimentary small plates and we eventually received an amazing tenderloin. Great bar, really worth a visit. If they got it right at the start, it may be 5stars!

Un Chino made in Tragaluz y no a la inversa.
