What makes this Ice bar really special, well it’s the first Ice bar at the beach in the world. Yes, you heard right! You have the best of both world’s. With an amazing view, it’s like paradise.
Icebarcelona is an open area, you can order drinks at the bar, or sit back relax and enjoy the scenery. You’ll have to notify the bartender or hostess for entering the «Ice area». Our admission was $ 15 euros back in 2013 I believe. It included a warm jacket, gloves, and 2 drinks. Jacket and gloves to be returned after you exist. It was kindof expensive however it was an activity my husband and I really wanted to experience while in Spain, and I’m glad we did.
I suggest you wear regular shoes, or else your feet will be frozen right away. You can bring camera’s as it is suggested so you can capture lots of great memories.
You can stay inside for 45 minutes or so depending how well you are with the cold. The temperature oscilitates between 23 and 14 degrees celsius. They have a regular bar menu, and several options to choose from for your free ones. The bartender had a heavy hand, can’t remember his name unfortunately but our experience was a great one. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this place to anyone who will be visiting the area. 5 stars all the way.

Preparado pra congelar? O lugar é feito totalmente de gelo com uma temperatura beeeem baixa. Mas não se preocupe pq o lugar oferta um casaco que garante que você não morra de frio lá dentro.
Eu achei que fosse um pouco maior. Mas as atividades lá dentro compensam.
O passeio dá direito a um drink em um copo de que também é de gelo. Muito bom!

This was my first ice bar experience and I really enjoyed it. For around 15 euros you get entry to the ice bar room and a drink. If you are looking for a unique bar along la barceloneta I would highly recommend icebarcelona. The staff was friendly as well. We went earlier in the night — around 11pm and it was not overly busy — which is a good idea because you want to get pictures inside the bar and not have to wait too long for your drink!

15 € l’entrée et on vous prête la doudoune et les gants et il y a une conso gratuite avec. Cependant je suis assez déçue… C’est juste une petite pièce avec 3 sculptures en glacé…

Beautiful place! You can see the sea from the bar, it’s pretty awesome! Great drinks & the music is really good.
The inside is pretty cool, partying with –11 inside and almost 20 outside is kind of funny!

Un sitio hecho totalmente de hielo a menos 10 grados, Decir que es muy pequeňo, como experiéncia bien. Van cambiando la decoración te dan chaqueta y guantes y sirven cokteles.

Pour connaître les Ice Bar de Londres et Roma, je né peux sue déconseiller celui-​ci. Carte ridiculement petite, à l’image de la salle. Aucun sourire des serveurs, qui né s’occupent qu’à peine de vous.
À éviter absolument.

Definitely a tourist trap but hey I’ve never been to an ice bar so wanted to do it at least once… its $ 15 euros per person and it was not crowded… it’s so cold inside that I didn’t make it past 15 minutes, well that and boredom… not much to do once inside but hey at least I can check it off my list

Beau décor, cocktail très bon servi dans un verre en glacé éphémère …accueil sympathique .

Ya había estado en el de Londres hace unos años, y aunque sabíamos que se trata de una mera atracción turística, nos apetecía hacer algo diferente y de paso, ver como es el Icebarcelona.
En la web te dicen que puedes estar 45 minutos como máximo dentro de la sala de hielo, y que después puedes quedarte tomando algo en su terraza con vistas a la playa y al mar.
Nuestra experiencia fue la siguiente. Teníamos reserva para las 20h y llegamos exactamente a las 20.07h; la persona que había en la puerta, muy seria, me dijo que o entrábamos en ese momento o ya no podíamos hasta las 21:30h ya que tenían un evento y llegaba una gente que había alquilado el local. En el caso que entráramos a las 20.10h, teníamos hasta las 20.30h para estar dentro… no lo entendí, ya que la visita puede durar hasta 45 minutos según la web, ¿entonces, por qué hasta y media y no hasta menos cuarto? ¿Qué culpa tengo yo de que hayan alquilado ese día el espacio? ¿Acaso no voy a pagar los 15 euros que paga todo el mundo? ¿Y si había un evento y yo tenía una reserva hecha, no me lo tendrían que haber comunicado?
De todas formas decidimos entrar porque lo de las 21.30h nos pareció demasiado tarde. Total, a la hora de entregarnos la chaqueta plateada pregunté un par de cosas y ni me contestaron. Luego entramos a la sala de hielo (muy pequeña y con tan solo unas pocas figuras de hielo), y en la barra no había nadie que nos atendiera. Tuvimos que esperar a que entrara alguien a servirnos, y claro, ¡como teníamos tanto rato! Una vez nos pusieron las bebidas en el incómodo vaso de hielo me la bebí a toda prisa y decidí salir para fuera para esperar a mis compis ya que yo tenía demasiado frío, y de paso, salía antes un poco antes de la hora que me habían impuesto.
Mi sorpresa viene cuando entrego la chaqueta y me quedo dentro de la terraza, donde se supone, según la web, que te puedes quedar tranquilamente tomando algo con vistas al mar; va y me dicen los camareros que tengo que salir a la calle, que allí no me puedo quedar a esperar a mis compañeros, por lo del evento. Es decir, pagué 15 euros por estar 15 minutos en el bar de hielo (cuando en teoría son 45), me hablaron bordes y encima no pude disfrutar de la terracita frente al mar porque tenían un evento del cuál a mi nadie me había dicho nada, porque obviamente hubiese modificado el día para hacerles la visita.

Experiencia fascinante, pero caro para lo que es local y lo que ofrecen (un refresco, coctel, cerveza) por 15 €. El local es muy muy pequeño aunque hay estatuas de hielo que estan muy bien hechas y es fascinante pensar que son de hielo, yo me quité los guantes para tacarlas porque no lo creía!

El Icebar te deja frío, en el mal sentido.
El sitio es… más bien pequeño, apenas un poco más grande que la nevera de tu casa. Ciertamente, el responsable de las fotos promocionales tiene mucho talento. Los ‘cócteles’, así los llaman, son vergonzosos, el encargado de las mezclas no parecía tener mucha idea. Los vasos de hielo serán muy originales, sí, pero traicioneros, se agujerean al poco tiempo y empiezan a perder líquido, cuando te quieres dar cuenta te has quedado sin brebaje. Pero lo más decepcionante de todo es la experiencia, más bien, la falta de esta. Es casi tan emocionante como tomarse en casa una cerveza con la puerta del congelador abierta, pero mucho más caro. ¿Que sentido tiene meterse en una cámara frigorífica y pasar frío? Supongo que hacerse cuatro fotos, subirlas a las redes sociales y decir que has estado (y no volver más). No acabo de comprender quien podría necesitar los 45 min. si a los 10 min. ya está uno deseando salir.

Vraiment, vraiment pas terrible… Minuscule, consos pas terribles, pas de musique, barman qui pose nos verres en glacé brutalement… Qui les casse, forcément… Et né veut pas les remplacer !!!
C’est vrai que c’est à tester, mais pour en profiter, j’irais autre part…

Nul piège à touriste

Wer sich bei der Hitze abkühlen möchte, kann das hier in der Bar tun.
Denn sie beinhaltet auch eine «Kühl-​kammer» die mal –16 Grad erreichen kann. Keine Angst, es werden dicke Jacken spendiert. Im Innern sind Eisfiguren anzuschauen.
Sonst kann man natürlich etliche Cocktails genießen. Die Preis sind ziemlich gehoben, aber wenn man die Barcelona-​Card hat, bekommt man hier etwas Rabatt.
Die Lage ist sehr schön, weil direkt am Strand, neben anderen Bars und Restaurants.

El trato muy bueno, nos dejaron la sala para nosotros solos sin problemas ni pedir más a cambio.
Lo único que pensábamos que era más grande.
Lo recomiendo para sorprender a alguien!

Extremely gimmicky. But I guess for something you try once, it was worth paying the 15 euro entrance fee that included 1 free drink. We also got a 15% discount with some flier my hostelmate found. Though, even with the thick puffy jackets and gloves, we could only manage to survive for about 30 minutes. It was just too cold. And no one else was crazy enough to stay in there with us. Would I ever try out another ice bar? Probably not. But do I regret going in the first place? Nope!

Super Touristy and Super Cheesy — but fun!
They give you goofy coats to wear and even serve you your drinks in a cup made of ice! Its relatively small… about the size of a studio apartment in NYC. We only had one drink and left. Its definitely not a place you go and hang out all night.
Good news is that its right on the beach near lots of other clubs etc… so you can easily wander somewhere else when you are done.

I went there on January with a friend. We were so exited ’cause we heard a lot about that place… by the way we decided to go there… we paid 15 € apiece and they gave us a pear of gloves and a jacket and then they allow us to enter in a little refrigerating room. There were nobody! There were only four drink in the bar menu (only alcoholic)… It has been such a negative experience!

It’s an ice-​bar all right, so you get what the name promises, but not much more than that. I’ve seen them much better (and cheaper…)
If you ever get to the Lofoten islands in Norway, for example, I can recommend Magic Ice, with a HUGE collection of ice sculptures.

–11 that is one cold bar. Your entry includes a drink of your choice which comes in an ice glass. Yes everything is ice except the stiff drinks. They give you a large super puffy silver jacket and gloves that smell like old dirty jock straps. I suggest washing your hands upon leaving, you never know where those gloves have been but it could have well been the jackets that stunk. It was my first time in an ice bar which was exciting upon first arrival and then got old very quickly once the cold set in. My friends and I enjoyed smashing our glasses on the ice counter before we left since the bartender was nowhere to be seen and there were buckets of broken ice in multiple areas of the bar… why not have a laugh and smash your ice mug, it’s not like they are going to wash and reuse it. When I was inside the bar I didn’t see an ice lounge which I found odd, you would think if a bar has that much ice they could do some pretty fun creative ways to drink.

This is a gimmicky type of a place, but it is one cool gimmick. It is hard to go to an Ice Bar and not have an exciting time. The price was relatively cheap and they serve you a drink in a mug made of ice. It is a fun 30-​minutes in sub zero temperature and great for Facebook photo ops.
You show up, pay around 15 euros, they give you a coat and gloves, you go inside and get a free drink, and enjoy the ice cold surroundings. Everyone leaves happy.

I love the look and feel of this place. I’m not cool enough to party the night away so this review is for lunch and drinks on the beach terrace. I love their take on bacalao with tomato sauce. The bacalao was delicate and balanced rather than salty like I’ve had at other places. The clams were the best I’ve had in recent memory. Also, their sorbets are a refreshing treat after a hard day at the beach.
Get great food and great service while watching scantily clad men and women sun themselves on the beach. I’m not complaining.

I also thought Ice Bar… celona would be bigger but was still fully entertained.
Pigging freezing but worth the fun at –15C. Thank you for the skin rugs on the ice seats to try warm your tushy but then again drinking from a glass made of ice is never going to warm you through.
13 Euros with a Barcelona Card that gets you in with warmers and a cocktail inside wasn’t too bad a price, worth it. My ice glass leaked out the bottom to my horror but the bar maid believed that I wasn’t a complete alcoholic and made me a new drink in a new glass.
Wouldn’t recommend if you can’t stand the cold or don’t like vodka as it seems to be the only alcohol they stock in there to stop it being an ice pop cocktail.
Go try it with a group and try not to lick the walls.

Been to one, been to them all. They have these Ice Bars just about anywhere. The only reason I agreed to go, was because my friend has never ventured to one. In my opinion they’re overrated, but I suppose something everyone should experience once in their lifetime. They’ve got these huge dorky jackets for you to put on prior to entering the freezer. Admission was about 15 euros? and that included a drink. The pour is strong, at least I’m not getting completely ripped off. Seats available if you want to sit.

Visitamos este bar hace un mes y podemos decir que es una experiencia distinta y muy divertida.
Antes de entrar te dan el ticket para la consumición, una chaqueta y unos guantes para que puedas soportar el ‘fresquito’. Nosotros estavamos a –14o.
La sala está hecha completamente de hielo, tanto las barras, paredes, muebles, sofás e incluso los vasos. Ademas está decorado con algunas esculturas que se renuevan periódicamente.
Nosotros pedimos el cóctel Berry Bomb que se compone de Sky Vodka, zumo de naranja y arándanos, licor de fresa y cereza y la verdad, estaba muy bueno.

Ice, Ice Baby! Something that you can get at Siberian bar or Aspen with one tiny difference… Mother Beach, right in front of you… –5C inside, but once you are outside is 30C. Ice Barcelona charge 15 Euros to let you in for almost an hour and a drink included, more than anything tourist come here. You can have a good time if like cold atmosphere and know how to make the best of everything.

I’d imagine Ice Barcelona to be bigger, but I still had fun nonetheless. I met two Japanese tourists and a Spaniard here, it’s easy to chat with everyone else when you are in an intimate ice room. Ice Barcelona provides you with a coat and a pair of gloves, though I had to change to gloves I brought with me. There are nice ice sculptures inside, such as a polar bear and la Sagrada Familia. The drinks were good– I don’t remember what I ordered, I think it was an apple martini. The people who work here must have a blast watching people from the outside. The guy outside started playing a Japanese song and the tourists started dancing and doing karaōke along with the song! Great times! I had a hard time opening the door so they were also laughing at me when exiting. Yes, I’m special.

Fue una de las visitas que realice cuando viaje a la ciudad y me gusto mucho; un lugar totalmente nuevo para mi.
Llegue a el por medio del conserje del chambre d’hotes barcelone (
) donde me alojaba, que nos lo recomendo como visita ademas de los lugares tradicionales de la ciudad de Barcelona.
Que frio hace en ese lugar, no se si uno pasaria un largo rato alli; pero es algo distinto.

Un bar bien sympa. les consommations sont un peu chères mais ça reste un endroit insolite pour boire un coup.

Ice Bar es un sitio original, ideal para sorprender a alguien. Tal como dice su nombre, este bar es un local hecho completamente de hielo. Los muebles, vasos, la barra, las sillas, TODO es de hielo.
Pero no está en un país nórdico sino en Barcelona y al lado del mar.
Es un sitio que llama la atención sólo al entrar ya que te hacen poner una chaqueta, gorro y guantes para poder aguantar las temperaturas mínimas.
Cuesta 15 euros e incluye una bebida/​cocktail, y 45 minutos en su interior. Pero os puedo asegurar que este tiempo es más que suficiente.

Una vez fui al Ice Bar. Rondaba el verano del 2008 y hacía poco que este bar de hielo playero había abierto sus puertas. Los dueños me encargaron coordinar una producción publicitaria para la revista que regalan en los aviones de las nubes y me fui para allá con el fotógrafo y director de arte. A la entrada, nos plantaron un sombrero de tipo soviético pero en blanco, unos guantes de piel del mismo color y una chaqueta que con sólo mirarla traía a tu mente la famosa y maternal frase de «hija, vas a coger un sarampión como no te quites el abrigo». Pero la relaciones públicas insitió, así que me puse toda la parafernalia y entré.
La sensación al entrar al Ice Bar en verano es cuanto menos chocante. Termicamente hablando. Fuera, casi 30 grados. Dentro, menos siete. Lo más cercano al shock que he vivido. Y eso que solo me di una vuelta y deje a los compañeros trabajando dentro. Mientras yo me agencié una cervecita y me senté en una de las mesas de la terraza. Tan ricamente.
Hoy el Ice Bar sigue aglutinando curiosos y es un buen lugar para celebrar fiestar de cumpleaños. También conozco a fotógrafos que han hecho shootings para editoriales de ropa de baño. Sí, visualmente mola, pero se han hartado de retocar al piel de gallina de las modelos.

¿Quieres quedarte helado/​a? ¡Ice Barcelona! Y es que, como su nombre indica, es un bar hecho de «ice», o sea, hielo. ¿La temperatura? ¡-5ºC! O sea que si eres friolero friolero, casi mejor que cambies el rumbo porque, aunque en la entrada te dejen ropa de abrigo y guantes para soportar el frío, el moquillo no te lo evita nadie.
En fin… Sea como sea, no puede negarse que es un sitio original. De esos a los que vas un rato para hacer la coña con los amigos (cuando yo fui, la entrada costaba 15 € con consumición).
Y una cosa diré a su favor: ¡desde que fui tengo el cutis mucho más terso!

Haciendo honor a su nombre, y aunque parezca increible, el Ice es un local hecho completamente de hielo, pero en Barcelona y al lado del mar.
Es un sitio que llama la atencion, cuando de entrada ya te hacen ponerte un chaqueto, gorro y guantes.
Pero es que los muebles, los vasos, la barra, los sillos, todo. es de hielo.
Cuesta 15 euros e incluye una bebida/​cocktail, y 45 minutos en el local. Mucho mas no se aguanta :)
