As a New Yorker, this bar felt extremely comfortable and familiar. With the English signs, advertisements, and a plethora of American college students, this place is a must see for anyone studying abroad. The bar is filled with tons of American students looking for something comfortable, decorated with statues of liberties and signs advertising the glitz and the glamour of Wall Street. It’s a fun concept and definitely a fun place to go(especially for the pool table) but just as a warning, the drinks are a bit pricey. On average, a pint of beer was around 4 – 5 euros and a shot was roughly 2 – 3. When the stock market«crashes,» or when a certain amount of money is spent on drinks, the prices offered on the boards are halved. This place is infested with Americans so if you’re trying to get the authentic Barcelona night experience, this isn’t the place to go. There are some obscure drinks that make this place extremely novelty and give it the feel of an American college bar, such as the«Pussy Licker» which is just watered down baileys with whipped cream that the bartender refuses to let you use your hands to drink. Interesting concept, steep prices but overall a fun time to hang out.

Dow Jones was strongly suggested to me by several friends who studied abroad. After visiting, I can see why! You walk into a bar filled with Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and Wall St. paraphernalia; complete with a billboard advertising«tickers» of different cocktails and beers, their prices, and if they had gone up recently or not. Several of the drinks are very interesting and cheap. My friends and I started with the strongbow beer(it was at a low in the market!) and then progressed to the blowjob shot. The name shouldn’t deter you from what was a delicious minty cocktail. Loved the overall vibe and experience; and the pool table in the back was lots of fun! Would recommend to anyone else looking for a cool Barcelona bar further away from the party beach area!

Been here for drinks only as a pregame bar. Always fun, nice vibe, pool tables and cool experience with prices fluctuating like in the stock market. They have very interesting shots too

This bar was a fun concept to experience! We got two beers: a Fosters and a Heineken. We also got two shots during the crashes: a pussylicker and a blow job. The pussy licker was covered in whipped cream and truly a little disgusting. I would suggest steering clear from this one! But the blow job shot tasted like Andes mints and was delicious! Pretty cheap two euro shots during the crash, can’t really beat that! you can’t really enjoy your time here though, especially during a crash-it’s an excellent way to make people feel obligated to buy drinks. But overall a fun time!

BARCELONASTUDYABROADMUST!!! literally the best idea concept for a bar where the drinks prices are like stocks on the US stock exchange and their price is relevant to how popular they are throughout the night. and randomly throughout the night there are market crashes and the drinks are cut in price.

If you are looking for super fancy and high end drinks this isn’t the place. However, it is a lot of fun. You can see the concept from other reviews. We met some other tourist from the US and Australia while there and everyone is having a good time. If you are feeling wild, try«The Hand of God». Bartenders are very friendly as well and will make suggestions. Throw them a few euros and they’ll definately look after you.

Just a bar with overpriced drinks and drunk American tourist and some lost Dutch people who want to order an overpriced beer in their own language. Nothing special, if you don’t mind paying more than average for your beer it might be for you.

What a neat concept this place was! We came for a chill night and a few drinks after dinner, and were not disappointed. There are several digital boards with all the drinks and prices on them, and every time a drink is ordered, the price of it increases. Conversely, if no one has ordered a certain drink in a while, the price is lowered to increase orders. Every so often, the«stock market crashes,» and all drinks and shots become really cheap – I’m talking 2 euro or so. It is genius. Check in on foursquare to get a free shot. Try the hand of god, kangaroo, MILF, gummy bear shot, or orgasm shot(creative and interesting names). The bartenders were really nice, explaining to us what each drink was and pouring generously. I even got to control the music in there for a while! Fun atmosphere, lots of English speakers, pool table in the back.

The rating of this spot have less to do with the place itself as my attitude towards it, but all the same I’m sticking to it. I was dragged here despite my immediate aversion to it based on the name. At best I figured there would be a couple of actual Wall Street types(which isn’t very interesting) and at worst I assumed it would be chock full of study abroad Americans(like myself) speaking English and drinking Jäger. The second assessment was pretty much spot on. The allure of the«novel concept» of the market-based menu didn’t spark anything for me, nor did the pack of American boys hollering about Leonardo DiCaprio’s «wolf». If you’re looking for anything remotely local, interesting or with a hint of taste to the drinks look elsewhere. However, the bartender was cute and the shots were quite cheap(at times), so if you’re looking for a place to mingle with other Americans and get a little hammered this is your spot.

Went here one night for a few drinks after a late dinner. Its a fun concept. The prices change based on who is ordering what. If a drink is popular, it costs more. The prices are all displayed on tv screens to look like stocks and prices Every once in a while the market crashes and everything goes down in price. That’s the time to buy! I got a beer for 2 euro! Lots of Americans here… lots of study abroad students… but that seemed to be just about everywhere. They had several big tv’s and a projection screen with NCAA March Madness games on – so that was fun. Got to see Georgetown lose LIVE!

Fun bar in Barcelona. Me and my friends actually came really close to closing time, but the bartenders made sure we had a good time anyway. The way this bar works(think stock market): –After you buy a drink, the price of the drink increases. –If no one is really buying drinks, prices begin to fall, and eventually(at the press of the bartender’s button, actually) the market will«crash» –When the market«crashes», all or most of the drinks become cheaper! Love the concept. The décor is decorated to have a New York/Wall Street theme. The menus are on computer screens across the top of the bar. The bartenders were a lot of fun! Knew we were looking for a fun time and made sure we got it even though the bar was pretty empty. They made the stock market crash just to give us the experience, and even gave me and my friends free shots. If you’re in Barcelona, this is must stop!

Cheap drinks!(if you don’t mind what to drink, just pick the cheapest drink!!) The bar has the same concept as the stock market. We had the opportunity to experience«market crash» when all the drinks are at the lowest price and siren on, and everyone runs to get cheap drinks! It’s fun at first, but after a while, when you get a hang of the concepts, the bar is kinda boring.
