Came here referring to Unilocal and the owner doesn’t speak English at all. But that’s not a problem! He pulled out his phone and translated every dish in the counter for us! And all of them taste so good! Sangria is good too. We got crab and pineapple, potato, mussels, and satin fish. My fav was crab and pineapple! So good! Owner is very friendly!

Don’t stop here, nasty place, dirty, smelly. Just a plain mess Very disappointing and should be investigated by a health inspector

Less than average bar food and the owner is a complete ass. There are many restaurants in the area so there is not much reason to try this establishment with the other options available. This probably had the rudest person whom we dealt with on our entire trip to Spain and he appeared to be the owner of the restaurant.

DIRTY — bathroom was disgusting, everything had dust on it. Waitress was incredibly unfriendly. Came in, had a drink and then left. Go find somewhere different to eat.

Good stuff. You gotta experience it. Great food, sexy waitress. Good good food. We also got a vermouth for free that was really good. It’s one of those places with a not so interesting look from the outside, but once you get in, it has these wine barrels. The stools are made if them too. The food is very good, we ordered all the tapas on the menu because they were 4 Euros each. It was a good time.

The previous reviews couldn’t be any more inaccurate. This place is literally a dump; I mean that by accuracy and not insult. It is fairly dirty. When I came, they had appetizers/pintxos up on the bar that did not look sanitary. I still decided to eat there because of the great reviews; I figured maybe it’s all about the food. There is no English menu and nobody that’s English speaking, so be prepared to either speak Spanish or improvise. I went to the washroom to wash my hands and it’s flat-out dirty. I didn’t expect to see Mandarin Oriental-level cleanliness but when the soap is so dirty that I decide not to use it, that’s a concern. The walls and barrels are dusty, and although there is oil/condiments on the table, the glass bottles look grimy. I did have the salmon — as everyone recommends — and I had anchovies, bacalao(cod) croquettes and a pintxo with picks/peppers. Nothing there is fresh — especially the croquette. This isn’t the worst place I’ve eaten at but the previous reviews(and photos, I might add) are so misleading that I had to write a review. Can’t believe I was this badly mislead.

Excellent tapas! try the mushroom croquetas, perfectly sliced manchego, jamon and marinated salmon. They also make their own house wines and vermouth. Laura is an excellent host and is very friendly. She made us feel right at home. We highly recommend. This will be on the list for all future trips to Barcelona. Our daughter said, «this food makes me smile!»

Dive, local experience. I highly recommend the marinated salmon, super fresh and yummy. We had the 2nd round of it. I normally don’t eat fried food but I love artichokes. So I ended up ordering the fried artichokes to try, they were good. Very affordable meal and interesting experience. Note: no a/c if u go in the summer. No English menu, the girl would explain to you what they have. Or go see yourself at the tapas bar for cold items.

I went to the bodega by myself and it was awesome! Laura the server was great, she totally took care of me. The service was great and she was awesome too. One of the best experiences I had in Barcelona.

We ate here our first meal in Barcelona! It was a great transition into the world of tapas! They helped us choose the best things on the menu. We enjoyed every thing hat came to our table and gobbled everything down! Favorites include the mushroom croquettes, crab and pineapple salad and the potatoes with a yummy spicy sauce!

It was a great experience. It turned out to be a local hang out. It has been a restaurant for 50+ years. We were a party of 18 and a bit hesitant to go in but went in we did. Order the croquetas de albacore my kids(13, 6,4) liked them. The cold tapas(potato salad, lobster salad) were delicious. The décor was true Barcelona. It was a bit hot, no AC. But drink enough beer and you’ll be fine. They have coca, wines, any drink you can find in a store. Try everything! The mushroom croquetas were great too. All around a great spot.

They only have about 6 tapas available so I wouldn’t call it a tapas bar, more like a regular bar with some tapas on the counter.

Great service. NOT touristy. Amazing tapas from a small menu. House red wine is great. Highly recommend for a quick lunch before going to Sagrada.

¡¡Soy muy fan; admiradora profunda! Bodega, BODEGA.

If you’re close to Gaudi’s cathedral then you are close to this spot. A friend in spain recommended this place and it was by far the best and most unexpected meal in Barcelona. We had just about everything they served and you really cannot go wrong in here. Seafood in general was my favorite with sardines and the baby eels on bread being my #1 Barcelona has to be one of the greatest cities in the world. Amazing people and places like this. GOOUT in Barcelona at night, walk to Las Ramblas and sit at any fountain. Buy a beer from the locals and just take it all in. My #1 going out city in the world is Barcelona, so much fun !
