My experience here was amazing, starting with the tour of the brewery and ending at the bar. For the guided tour, you buy an entry ticket and a tour ticket(135DK), and that gets you two vouchers for two beers total(or two soft drinks if for whatever reason you don’t want beer). The tour itself was brief but informative and interesting. You learn about the history of the family that started the brewery and its relevance today(as well as historical information). Our tour guide was very amicable and knowledgable. The tour lasted about 40 minutes which was a very reasonable time. The bar(that doubles as a restaurant) was also nice. The food is really good and also really reasonably priced. The waiters need to be flagged down kind of, but they’re all ridiculously nice(why can’t American waiters be like them). We got the Chicken Mayonnaise Salad and Beer Braised Brisket. The salad is light and tastes good. The chicken paired with the mayonnaise works well, and the bread that comes with the dish is really good(I could have eaten that alone and been happy). The brisket was super tender, and the crushed potatoes were on the chunky side but tastes great. The dishes were also played very aesthetically. You can sit here for a long time and relax after eating, as there’s plenty of seating and no rushed feeling(and free working wifi!). The waiter also gave us free peanuts! Bill added up to about $ 40. As for the beer, we got the Carlsberg Pilsner, Carls Special, Tuborg Rå, and Tuborg Classic(all recommended by our waiter). I can’t really describe them that well(as I have little experience), but the Rå was my favorite. The Carlsberg Brewery is a place that everyone should visit when traveling to Copenhagen. Great people and an awesome experience awaits!

The Carlsberg museum is nice, you can see how the beer had been produced in the past, the history of the carlsberg beers trough the years and the old cars, how they transported the beers or what type of utensils they used too. At the Visit Carlsberg you have 2 vouchers to use to taste the carlsberg’s beer. You can spend it or inside the museum or at the bar area. I preferred the second option, I felt a bit post, why not for one day and the bar is nice. I had my lunch and my first free beer, WHICH was very nice. You don’t need to spend all the voucher together, but be aware that the bar closed at 5pm, so if you have one left, you have to other the beer before 5pm. There isn’t enough stuff to serve guests, just keep it in mind. I suppose because the place isn’t so huge to require more workers or no so many people go the at the same time, to justify more waitress. So you can expect to wait a bit before being served. The food is nice, as I said in some other reviews about CPH, you spend but you get a very good quality too. The stuff is kind, the guys who serve you are friendly and also good looking as most of Danish people. What to say, it is worst a visit!!! Although the visit was fantastic, the shop isn’t that cool, the souvenirs aren’t nice. The stuff is polite but also rude, we didn’t find the place because lack of signals, we said it and they seems disappointed to hear so. Overall I recommend to taste the beer at the bar as I got a nice atmosphere more than getting the drink during the tour and walking around with the beer.
