Dårlig, dårlig, dårlig, as my gracious hosts like to say. The plus is their later hours and Sunday opening times similar to businesses in the 20th century. I am pretty sure you can also find carrots and potatoes at any hour, but organic eggs near closing? Skyr? Actually fatty yogurt and not that scary Arla stuff with toxic canola oil added for some unknown reason to the hormonal cow’s efforts? Darjeling loose tea? Oh, you can forget about it. Last night I could only chuckle to myself. The store location is one of the most cramped and compact ones in existence. Does Maersk have some clueless lackey in real estate who makes the decision on which spaces will work as actual supermarkets? Could you please fire them and hire me, and I can scout out appropriate locations? Honestly, please contact me. The store is too cramped for it to ever be properly hygienic, it’s like an Avenue C flat in NYC circa 1982 or something, it’s just not properly configured for anything. I am sure they’re saving money on salaries and keeping their prices low(bwahahahaha!) by not allowing any overtime past store hours, but the store is cramped enough as it is, so just go ahead and run people over with pallet loaders if it means we can get organic eggs! What is good: occasionally the employees are sweet. Sometimes they’re danbotic robots, though. One just never knows. They almost always have booze, surprise, surprise. Oh, and it’s near a major bus line stop. And it’s open until 10:00pm. Updated with an extra star because normally their beer section is okay. And I do like their Brew Cat brand.
