Discount place and it shows. Average food, average service and average prices. I like the pasta dishes, but the rest isn’t that impressive. Nice location though.

So I’ve read all the other reviews and I’ve gotta say that I completely disagree! Every time I go to Lyngby I eat here, their lunch buffet is so delicious and has some of the best chicken and sauce I’ve ever tasted. Quick service too — I’d definitely recommend this place, even took my BFF there and she loved it too!

Located in the food court of the Lyngby cineplex(Kulturhuset) this is an affordable setting for a family meal out with a great variety of food preferences. The printed menu is not tourist friendly(few English words, if any) but this is largely compensated by the fact that the great deal here both for lunch and dinner is a great hot buffet. The chef is Turkish(Anatolian) so most a la carte dishes come with tzatsiki — very much like in a Greek restaurant. My daughter eats vegan, which always poses a problem in Denmark, but they were eager to understand and make her up a special plate adapted to her needs. They were even cheerful when they had to re-do it because they had put a cream sauce on the pasta because we forgot to spell out the no-dairy part, having assumed that pasta would come with a plain tomato sauce. In our party of five, two went for the buffet, and came back with a good variety including pizza and chicken dishes. One had the pasta/vegetable special. One had the beef kebab, and I had a plank steak on a bed of rice and mashed potatoes with a sweet cream sauce. The house red wine was drinkable, and the service was friendly and unobtrusive.
