I’m gonna write a review about Dgi-byens hotel. Since I used to live in Copenhagen and came here to swim and take a sauna every morning, its a very familiar place. That’s why staying here is good enough, even though it’s not fancy hotel. It’s more like a huge, comprehensive spots facility in addition to being a hotel.(Hotel guests can use sports facility for free). I stayed here previously three separate times. But as a matter of fact, if I hadn’t lived in this city, surely I would have chosen another nice hotel which has an established international reputation. Frankly, I just tried to avoid those hotels which accept huge tourist groups. If you have an expensive and luxurious sense for hotel, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. First of all, the room has just minimum furnishing in a very simple Scandinavian style. Of course they have free wifi though fridge, mini bar, or nice amenities don’t exist. Also no room service. However, if you don’t plan on spending time in the room, or if you’re kind of obsessed with swimming or machine exercising from early in the morning, it would be fine. Second, since the hotel is located near the international bus terminal and next to railroad track, depending on the room, you might be annoyed by the noise. Needless to say, non of the room have a quaint or scenic view. On the other hand, it’s in a convenient location for look around the city. Third, morning buffet offers variety of food. Actually it was much better than few years ago. You can enjoy Scandinavian style breakfast. All staff is very helpful and friendly and hotel is very clean and neat. As I say, it’s not a high-end hotel though if you attach great importance to using a sports facility and avoiding huge tourist groups, this is the place you should stay.
