Four stars for the hygge, four stars for the fancy Earl Grey tea in a pretty little tea bag. I walk/ride buy this place on the regular, but it wasn’t until Saturday when I had a day dedicated to hygge with my bestest sistafriend that I finally had an excuse to step inside. The environment is such that basically you could spend a day in there. Big windows facing the street are ideal for people watching a cool foggy autumn day. During the summer(and even now), there are benches outside to enjoy your warm or cool beverages on street level, with the exciting going ons of inner Nørrebro, easily the most vibrant neighborhood in CPH. Their coffee is delightful, and so is their tea. They have other little snacks available, but we didn’t come to eat this time. Maybe next time! Pro-tip: make bets with your friends on how long it will take before someone you know walks by the window. It took us 7 minutes.

The place where the chefs from renowned NOMA go to enjoy their coffee. The baristas are top of their class; it’ll be a challenge to find a better cappuccino or espresso. The prices are fair considering the high standard in both beverage and food. Order for instance their panini with 18 months aged conté cheese — it’s a small gourmet experience. For foreign visitors: The place don’t accept credit cards.
