Museum og brunch #4 @ Kystens Perle og Den Blå Planet

Nice building with a bit of local heritage to it situated at the edge of a little marina with two-​mast wooden ships. The place has great potential to become a great outdoor summertime café area.
The brunch there is a 10-​piece standard with very basic ingredients. Tea is served like you would coffee.

On a rainy winter day it’s great to sit indoor at Café Kystens Perle and have brunch. I will be back in the summer on a sunny day, so I can sit outside.
The brunch at Kystens Perle is ordinary. Bacon, egg and sausage, yoghurt with jam, cheese, salami and some fruit. One could nope for a bit more ingenuity, or bit higher quality. The bread was quite good.
The company was great. It was nice to meet up with old and new Unilocalers. We had much writing reviews.
At Den Blå Planet we had a guided tour back stage, and it was great to see and hear about the place and it’s animals.
The event was great, but I can only graded with 4 stars because of the ordernary brunch.
Note to myself; maybe try a burger next time.

Had a gloomy start to the day with dark skies & rainy/​snowy/​wet weather, but was absolutely looking forward to meet fellow Unilocalers for this event & it is never disappointing, on the contrary it is always fun.
Reached the place a few minutes late but was greeted by smiling face of Camilla who is welcoming & makes you feel at ease.
This place looked like a nice place as it seemed was busy with people other than us & that’s a nice start as it means this place is good for a food junkie like me. I tried to do something different today by choosing burger over brunch & it did not disappoint me, although the service atleast felt a bit disappointing to me. I ordered a large glass of hot chocolate, but what I got was a small glass & no mention when asked I was told I can get a refill. I would expect the staff to take care of this rather than me asking & they saying.
I cannot complain about the event though.

Brunch is good. Brunch never disappoints. So when combined with good company as fellow Unilocalers are — brunch is extraordinary good.
This is the fourth event of the museum & brunch that CPH Unilocalers held and may it continue for ever and ever since museum visits has become much more interesting with food added.
This time we don’t go back to history by going to dusty display rooms in a museum but to go underwater to visit nearby Den Blå Planet (Denmark’s Aquarium) to see behind the thick glass. Whatever happens — whether we encounter the big white shark or not, we’ll go home happy with full tummy

Loved it!
After a bit of a rough start (walking/​climbing through the construction site) it was super hyggeligt in the café itself. The food was nice, though I wouldn’t say I’ll go all the way out there again to have it. But solid brunch, the veggie version had the most delicious tuna mousse!
The tour through the aquarium was awesome, I always love «behind the scenes» stuff.
But the best thing is always the atmosphere and the immediate feeling that you’re among friends. This is only my second Unilocal event, but I hope to be able to attend more going forward. Lovely to meet all these great people!
