There are based on a concept of handsome men, at least that’s what I’ve heard. Guys are nice to look at, but I visited twice because of the juices. There are delicious! Sandwiches are one a saltier side but still lovely. Music is blasting out of the speakers and helps you wake up. 6 a.m. and they are full of energy telling names and taking orders. It’s but busy and disorganised but that’s the beauty of it. I highly recommend it to anyone, not just girls ;)

As far as juice places goes, I wasn’t blown away. I actually thought my «juice» was somewhere between a juice and a smoothie– a little thicker than I was expecting. But it wasn’t bad. I wasn’t terribly impressed with my avocado/mozzarella/tomato sandwich… I don’t think it had been toasted long enough. They’re pretty quick about getting your drinks and food out to you, which was nice.

Really good and super fresh. I ordered the Prince of Green and it was just what I needed after a flight back from Italy. Wish we had this in the states though.

Note: there are numerous J&TJ locations at Copenhagen airport. These reviews seem to be for all of them, not just the one in terminal 3. We grabbed a juice here while transiting on our way to Vilnius. For 40 kr($ 5.99), we got a pretty decent fresh juice blend. That’s actually not bad at all for an airport. The music was way too loud for 8:20am. With the house music they were blasting and the incredible fatigue of a sleepless overnight flight, it felt a bit like when I woke up in a dance tent at Burning Man. Except without the dust, hangover or sparkly pants, and I was in an airport.

I’m talking here about the Joe and the Juice located in terminal 2, facing the Gucci store. Let’s get thing straight. I had an avocado sandwich and a juice and they were both quite tasty. The one star however is for the VERY poor service. What’s with the abercrombie and fitch vibe on these guys? Do they only hire good looking males to appeal to teeanagers? Well anyways… they ARE good looking, very conscious of that fact and not quite humble. The«leader», I guess, was very condescing when taking my order(sorry I’m not a model hun) and talked to his customers like they were really bothering him during his crossfit session. It took forever to get the sandwich and the juice(ok, it was lunch time fair enough), but the organisation or lack thereof was messy, nobody ooked like they had any idea of what they were doing. So, to sum up, go for the nice food and drinks, not for the atmosphere… unless you’re looking to get hooked up with one of these guys(there’s a «leave your phone number» box on the counter.

Fresh-pressed juice is refreshing AMIRTE? Seriously, it’s fast, yummy, and so much less guilty feeling than normal airport food. I wish we had these in the States.

It’s a Joe and the Juice. There’s nothing really special about this one compared to others. Location is fine, right at the exit of the duty free shop after security, and the store is nice and big with lots of sitting room. Personally, I’m a fan of their juices and sandwiches, and even though I wouldn’t really call them cheap, they’re still a good deal. Staff here is friendly and usually quite quick even in busy hours.

Had a bite to eat here while waiting for my flight. I think for airport food, this place is pretty good. I had the spicy tuna sandwich and it was one of the best tuna sandwiches I’ve ever had. So tasty. A little expensive for a sando, but everything in Copenhagen is expensive anyway. The service was okay, a little slow for a place where people are on the go. There is seating around the café with plenty of outlets for people who want to plop down and plug in while waiting for their flights. Definitely recommend for lunch or a snack.

As a frequent traveler, finding a good café has always been important to me. Though there are usually many options to choose from, I somehow end up in Starbucks in most cases except this time — I didn’t even look for Starbucks as I reached the airport! The moment I walked pass by Joe and the Juice, I knew I had to get my morning Joe fix here. The mixture of coffee, music and the interior were definitely not something I can find among the other 10+ airports I’ve been to. If you’re a frequent traveler like me, try a cup of joe here, you won’t be disappointed :)

In short, if Abercrombie and Fitch had its own coffee shop, it’d be Joe and the Juice. While waiting for my flight on New Years Eve, I decided to check out Joe and The Juice in Terminal 2⁄3. I’ve seen several of them around Copenhagen and even one in Hamburg, so I immediately thought of it as the local Jamba Juice with the sit-down atmosphere of a coffee shop, except for the A&F «baristas» and ambient techno remixes of the Top 40. If you’ve been in Denmark for at least a day, you should not be shocked at the prices. Yes — it’s expensive. Fresh squeezed juice is $ 7 – 9 a cup and sandwiches are $ 8 each. In terms of quality, they use whole fruits — sliced, squeezed, and blended right in front of you. Viscosity is thin, so you know you’re getting primarily juice and water with little to no fiber. Panini sandwiches range from simple to a pinch of ethnic variety — ham & cheese, spicy Southwest chicken, etc. They’re simply good — crunchy bread that is still soft inside, neatly cut tomatoes and peeled lettuce, and just slightly melted cheese. Seating is plentiful but almost always crowded. There are lounge chairs and couches — probably the most comfy place to relax at the airport. They are also one of the last places to remain open in the airport during the evenings and holidays. Of all the places you can dine in at the airport, I would strongly recommend Joe and the Juice, especially if you have a layover or at least two hours of downtime.

Mainly for hipsters and women. Tends to attract quite the wannabes or people with high self esteem. Seats are great and if you like the music you might as well spend some time here. The cup o’ Joes is not worth having, reminds me of murky feet-water(don’t ask how I know). Juices is a roll of die, which I assume is the way they come up with the recipes in the first place.

Joe and the Juice is one of the best alternatives for a decent, healthy, not too expensive juice/sandwich in the airport. That said, the place is increasingly disappointing me. Not the best service, my sandwiches are burnt, they’re small and I’m still hungry after eating one, their shakes are very thin. Moreover, Joe and the Juice doesn’t have the best reputation in DK anymore, underpaying their employees etc. further, two of my friends worked for them freelance developing it systems and other things — they have not been paid yet. The reason for three stars is that they are the best alternative in the airport. I don’t go to Joe and the Juice if there’s other decent options.

Will I ever be dissappointed of Joe and the Juice? Don’t seem likely. The Joe and the Juice in the middle of the airport here at Kastrup have the best location. Even though this place is always extremely busy and by the look of it, you think you’ll wait a long time. nope– service straight away and you get your stuff in max 3 – 4 minutes! This time we had the Power shake, the Lemon shake, the sandwich with airdried ham and the Joe’s club sandwich. All of these things were sooooo good but my favourite so far must be the lemon/banana shake-so go and try it. The waiters are also here, cute as at any J&J’s.

While I had to wait an hour for my flight I ordered the ‘sex me up’(ginger, apple & passion fruit juice) and a sandwich(chicken with avocado). The staff were only boys :) cheeky but cute and friendly at the same time. Loved the concept/philosophy of the brand and I must say it was a bit more expensive than usual. However, if you are at the airport in Copenhagen then try one of their delicious freshly pressed juices.

The freshly squeezed drinks are pretty tasty, I tried one here with carrot, ginger, beet, and orange. The main problem I had was the ridiculous wait time. i was the 2nd customer in line, after ordering the two guys sat around and chit chatted with some girls who showed up later. then proceeded to make their drinks first. I waited 15min and finally realized they forgot about my order, even though I was standing in front starring at them in disbelief. The fact that the didn’t recognize my order was pretty dumb, so i had to go up and ask them; at which point they played dumb and told me they conveniently forgot. Anyways poor service, but the drink itself was good. However, the ridiculous price I paid for a small fresh squeezed juice was really high, I believe it was 60krone for a small juice which is a bit steep.

On my last trip through CPH I got Joe’s Juice immediately upon touching down. And then planned what I’d order 10 days later when I flew out from CPH again. That’s how much I get pumped about the organic lemon /banana smoothie. Worth mentioning: I’m not even into banana into my smoothies(usually) — I feel as though they dominate with sweetness and get goopy(technical term). But here it just brought a sweet creaminess to the smoothie which wasn’t thick but more like the consistency of milk. My friend identified the flavour as «lemon meringue”-like. Spot on, friend(I choose ‘em based on their amazing palates). Worth calling out, too, is their sandwiches. A spicy tuna featured tuna mousse spiked with dill and studded with full chunks of jalapeño. Between two thin grilled slices of Scandi-bread, well… heavenly. Wishing that you were in Copenhagen and not at the airport? Well in that case: another vote in favour of Joe & the Juice because ITFEELSLIKEYOU’REIN A CLUB. Uncensored rap(Dr. Dre remix pulled me in) will make you want to slow jam instead of run for your gate. If you’re into the lighter more open space I’d recommend the Joe & the Juice location further away from the Duty Free. The one point of criticism that cost ‘em the star was their coffee: I threw my espresso out after the first sip. It was harsh and bitter and really unpleasant to drink. Fluke? Maybe, but at Danish prices not a mistake I’ll risk making again at Joe & the Juice. Unilocal note: I was all«wah wah, when will I ever drink anything similar to my lemon meringue banana milk again» UNTIL… I realized that Joe & the Juice has legs beyond Denmark! So right in my very own Londontown I can score a favourite taste of Scandi. SCORE.

I love fresh juice. And I like it best when I make it myself. But seeing as how I can’t exactly cart around a juicer in my carry-on, spotting Danish chain Joe & the Juice in terminal three at CPH today was cause for excitement. I wish I’d had time to leisurely peruse the menu of juice offerings but there were people everywhere and my turn came quickly. I called for a C-Shot Sweet, a combination of red bell pepper, apple and lemon. I slurped it down and wondered to myself why I hadn’t thought of juicing bell peppers(first order of business when I get back). Though I’d skipped breakfast, this small juice managed to carry me though interrogation at the border(apparently they’d never seen an American passport with so many extra pages added to it), a flight to London where the passenger next to me coughed constantly, all the way to my hotel in W2. With no hanger! Success! I’d welcome Joe & the Juice to San Francisco with open arms.

Joe & the Juice is a Danish chain of juice and coffee bars that are all over Copenhagen and at Kastrup as well. They have however also expanded elsewhere and there are 4 outlets in London, a few in Hamburg and I have seen one in Stockholm as well. They mainly focus on the juices and smoothies and they are great at that part. There are loads of different choices when it comes to fresh and made to order juices so if that is your cup of tea this is the place to go. When it comes to coffee they usually got fancy coffee machines but it does not really help when they use coffee that is not fit for human consumption. It is actually rather sad as they used to have some of the best coffee available(their old supplier was Danish micro roasters Coffee Collective). So avoid the coffee and stick to the juices and/or smoothies. They also serve some hot sandwiches but there are other better food options around Kastrup than that. All in all still a place worth visiting if at Kastrup. It may be crowded during peak hours but if it is not a rush there it is fairly nice to sit down and relax there as well. The price level is very much that one normally find at airports so it is not cheap but at least it is not bad either(which all too common at airports).

Joe & the Juice is a big chain of popular juice bars in the Copenhagen area, but of course, I didn’t notice that until I passed security at the airport on my way of the country. There’s one next to the information kiosk in the international terminal, and it was overstuffed with travelers looking for a quick pick-me-up before their flights. I was looking for something to wet my whistle since my flight wasn’t for another two hours. Yes, I’m one of those overly anal types who need to be at the airport two hours in advance since I can’t deal with the procrastinators who wait until the last minute. I decided to take the last of my Danish krone and treat myself to a Go Mighty Energy Shake for 50DKK, a ridiculous price for a medium-size shake since it converts to nearly nine US dollars. It was a raspberry mix that was refreshing but over with all too quickly since I still had another hour and 50 minutes when I was done with it. Even at the airport, the place exudes the hip and young vibe that must pervade all the other locations. However, this one is packed full of young families with prepubescent kids running around like ADD was going out of fashion. Needless to say, all the seats were taken and it was hard not to trip over all the suitcases on rollers. Joe also serves a number of fresh juices with names like the Energizer(red grapefruit, apple & ginger) and Hangover Heaven(elderflower, apple & mint). There’s also coffee and toasted sandwiches if you’re feeling a bit more peckish. The avocado one looked pretty good, but the currywurst was waiting for me in Berlin. SHAKE: 3 stars… healthy-tasting but a bit too sweet and priced for tourists trying to get rid of their krones AMBIANCE — 2 stars… airport anarchy with no place to sit no matter how much stink-eye you give SERVICE — 3 stars… the wait can get long when it’s busy TOTAL — 3 stars… a pricey pick-me-up before your flight back
