Was looking for some quick take-away on my way to the studio, and I drove by this place. Out of the corner of my eye the words african, hotpot, indian caught my eye and I blocked the brakes on my bike and went back. De Varme Gryder serves hot one pot dishes in 3 different sizes with white or brown rice(brown rice is a big plus in my book!). I suppose the dishes change regularly, and this day they had for instance North Indian Curry, Coq au Vin, Spicy african meat stew and more that I can’t recall! I ordered the North Indian chicken curry — but when I got to the studio, I found the African Dish in my hands. However this was my 2nd priority and it was really really tasty as well with just the right amount of heat! Was just a tad better than the generic take away you can get. I got a medium sized portoin with brown rice, which costs 79.- and I was really full afterwards. I’ll check this place out again some time if I’m in the neighborhood!
