Wow, what a glorious day to sit out on the pier in Dragør! With the inconsistent summers of dear old Denmark, when it looks like summer, you better get your booty outside and carpe diem, amiright? And so, carpe the diem, we did. To make our meal at Café Blink even more worthwhile, we navigated some poorly marked bike paths from CPH all the way out there. 14 kilometers later — sore bums, and empty tummies — we sat down outside for some burgers. Now, I have definitely been on what seems like a never-ending hunt for the Best Burger in Copenhagen, and while I’m not sure I’ve found it quite yet, and technically Dragør isn’t Copenhagen, I will say that Café Blink is pret-ty close in terms of meat quality. No lumpy tough meat can be found here, folks. A sad tragedy is that it comes with a side of guac that, if not for it being sort of green, I wouldn’t even know it was actual guacamole. As a passionate lover of delicious chunky homemade guacamole, that was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise, the ambiance is great. Right on the edge of the old city of Dragør, with all sorts of life happening around you, it’s a great way to spend a sunny summer day.
