This place is amazing. Smörgåsbord of beautiful brunch happiness for a reasonable price considering the quality of all the dishes. I’m a sucker for variety, so give me the opportunity to pick 7 dishes for 139dkk(or 5 for 109) and I’m an excited man. The sitting style is quite fun with the long table having you elbow to elbow(so to speak, not actually that close) with some strangers and an outlook on the big open bakery and kitchen. There are also some scattered single tables inside and out, as well as picnic tables out in the sun(whenever that comes out). All of the dishes were excellent, especially the waffles. Ahhh. I could have ordered 7 dishes of just waffles. The staff was friendly, even if some of the delivery girls seemed a bit lost. There really isn’t anything not to like about this place for me. A-mazeeee-ing. Definitely recommended for many repeats visits. Can’t go wrong here.

Finally, I got to try the most photographed brunch in Copenhagen! I arrived a few minutes after 10am on a Saturday, which I guess is a good idea if you don’t want to wait in line. I was a little confused at first since people were lined up at the register with order forms, but after asking a few patrons I figured out that I should find my own seat and, when I was ready to order, to join the queue. Eva K. joined me shortly after and chose 7 of the dishes while I chose 5. Juice: Ginger and carrot was very good! the spicy freshness woke me up better than an espresso. Bacon: Tasty but I prefer it a bit crispier. I’m guessing they bake it in the oven and keep it warm to save time. Eggs: I love fried eggs! It was definitely awkward to eat these in a shallow little bowl, though. They even stack one on top of the other. Would be much better served on a plate but then it wouldn’t fit with the other cute little bowls on the cutting board they serve you. Chickpeas: Very good. Not hummus. Salmon: Smoked salmon with beetroot crème and horseradish was delicious and added great colour to the board! Bread: Be warned; the 3 pieces of bread you get are very small! I wish I had known in advance, because I wanted to eat three of my dishes with bread. Each slice was half the size of my palm.(One of) the fried eggs dwarfed the bread. Next time I will either get fewer items that should be accompanied by bread or double up on bread. Though there were some shortcomings, they were small and I love the concept of the mix-and-match brunch. I loathe paying 130kr+ for a brunch plate that is only half full of things I actually want to eat and the other half contains a lukewarm slice of melon, some coldcuts, or an uninspired shot glass of yoghurt with muesli. At this place I can get ONLY the things I want. And then take a photo of it and upload it to Instagram.

We’ve now stopped into this spot for just coffee and also for their brunch. Both have been great, and the space is very nice. Big windows. A lot of seating, but good seating for pairs or small groups. If you have more than 3 or 4 people, you’d better hope the large family style table is available! Otherwise, it may be hard to find seating for groups. They do have wifi– as a customer you can ask for the password. Their coffee was wonderful. Between the two visits, we had an espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, and soy cappuccino. All were delicious. We also picked up some after dinner coffee to take home with us! I had the brunch this morning, and it was amazing. I don’t know about Copenhagen, but in Italy it was so difficult to find anything for breakfast other than bread and espresso. Having some eggs, avocado, and cheese almost brought me to blissful tears. For tourists: I was kindly greeted when I spoke English both times I visited here. I highly recommend stopping in to Wulf og Constali for coffee, brunch, or a snack.

My experience here slowly went from four stars to three to two. My friend and I took the metro here after hearing rave reviews about Wulff og Konstali’s brunch, and were looking forward to a memorable meal. We arrived to a packed café with a queue spilling out onto the steps and the AstroTurf lawn, which seemed to indicate that the food was worth the wait. We were told that we would be seated in half an hour, and ordered juice and pastries to snack on while we waited outside. We both ordered the carrot/apple/ginger juice, which arrived after we scarfed down our relatively standard pastries. As a fresh juice fanatic I’ve always had the motto ‘the more ginger, the better,’ but the juice we ordered had so much ginger in it that it was hard to stomach. We ended up waiting over an hour before there was a spot ready for us. Still, when we walked in we saw others with delicious looking dishes and hoped that the food was worth the wait. We ordered our food and two lattes, which ended up being the best part of our experience(they were well balanced and came in some awesome ceramic cups). While we waited we looked around at the décor(which is gorgeous) and commented on how nice it was to sit at the long communal table. We found it less nice when the couples on either side of us, who ordered after us, received and finished their meals while we hungrily observed. When our food finally arrived(after more than half an hour) we dug in, hoping that the flavors would make up for the egregious wait. Our eggs were well prepared, and the rye bread/beer porridge was interesting. Everything else, however, was very average, and not worth the price(we paid over $ 70 total for our juice, pastries, lattes, and two 7-dish brunch plates). The yogurt they served was a bit too acidic and one of the cheeses was slightly hard from being left out for too long. My friend ordered the chocolate waffle, which was bland and soggy, as if it had been sitting out in the kitchen for a very long time(frustrating when it took them over half an hour to finish our food). I then realized that my friend didn’t get the salmon that he ordered(come on!). We told the waitress and she grabbed a prepared salmon dish from the kitchen, which showed us how easily all of the food could be assembled and served to the customers. We tried to figure out why our food took so long to arrive. The place was busy, but had a huge kitchen that could easily accommodate all of the orders. The brunch menu is set, and none of the dishes are made-to-order. The waffle batter could be prepared ahead of time, the cheese, bread, and grapefruits could be pre-sliced, the salmon was obviously prepped before Wulff og Konstali opened for the day, and fried eggs should take 10 minutes, max(and that’s generous)! One of the cheeses was good with the apricot compote, but it didn’t make up for the other dishes(plus we could have easily bought that cheese in Torvehallerne and cooked the same tapas-style brunch ourselves)! All in all, Wulff og Konstali has the ingredients for an awesome brunch spot. The owners just need to hire more chefs or educate the current staff in efficiency before this can happen. This is an example of a unique concept that just hasn’t reached its potential. I just wish the food was as amazing as the presentation! If the service was faster the issues with the food wouldn’t have mattered so much, and Wulff og Konstali would be a solid 4 star café. You may have a nice experience if you try it on a weekday instead.

So many people raved about this place so I figured that I should give it a try, since it was practically round the corner from where I lived, but boy oh boy, didn’t I chose the wrong timing to try. First of all, don’t do brunch on weekend’s «rush hours». My friend and I made appointment at 13.00 Sunday and we ended up getting a table at 13.40 or something. You would have thought that Copenhagen has only 1.5 million inhabitants(compared to my hometown that brags about 25 million people), but it seems that everyone in Copenhagen was there that day on this place — brunching. Secondly, they don’t do table reservation — so unless you brought your sleeping bag with you and spent the night in front of the place like the way you did for the newest iPhone release, it would be extremely hard to get a table right away upon your arrival. Yes, I am exaggerating of course. So many people had talked about this place being so far out *rolls eyes*(hey, I’m an Amagerkaner and I know precisely that it only takes 7 minutes from Lergravsparken st to Nørreport st, compared to the amount of time you Østerbro, Nørrebro people take to centrum, don’t say that this place is FAROUT *puffing up in pride*) Food wise — we waited for another 45 minutes for our food to arrive — fair enough that there were so many people that the kitchen was probably bursting with orders at that time, but they should have done it faster since they’re just serving brunch that day, nothing else on the menu. I ordered fried eggs, cheese with jam, chorizo, bacon with today’s grill sandwich. The items were all mini-sized but surprisingly filing. The chorizo, fried eggs, cheese and jam were all average. Bacon was nice but too flaky(probably oven baked instead of panfried), cheese was ok. It was good, and with a price tag of 95 kr, it was decent. On the other hand, the homemade juice with ginger and carrots was very refreshing. I must try the beetroot juice next time, it looked gorgeous with the dark red colour. Maybe I’ll give this place another try, with different selection. I did try my friend’s chocolate waffle and that was good despite me and sweet breakfast stuff were never BFF before. …and oh the«today’s grilled sandwich» was good but it was bite-sized. I wish they would make it bigger :) Verdict: Decent place to do brunch, but definitely not worth the queue and the waiting time — maybe I will return when the hype has died down a bit, and hopefully the quality won’t. One thing that is good about this place is that the waitress were never rude or impatient with customers. They were always servicing with a smile no matter how chaotic the brunch time was. Being in Copenhagen where rude service staff were surprisingly common in this place, this means a lot. .and the homemade juice.

I was here twice, one for my friend’s birthday and another one with my mom. I enjoyed both visit as I always have. Even though this place isn’t close to where I live and I would be so lazy to commute here for brunch. I always order their 5 choices brunch and cold pressed juice. The juice were awesome, they usually have two choices– beet root lemon or orange ginger as the base(I don’t quite remember which other fruits are in them). But both are great choices. I always order things to make my picture look good haha. So fried egg is a must for me. Avocado is a good choice too, but I think they are a bit salty. And the toast with topping on it is pretty good too, the toppings changes everyday. I won’t recommend to get their chocolate croissant as it is pretty normal, and you can see there are flies on the pastries… ew However, what makes this place nice is definitely the atmosphere and all its décor. I have always appreciate these interior designs and makes me feel content on the day I have a great brunch: D
