Cutest little café in Islands Brygge… the friendly barista is reason enough to go back! I ordered an americano and my friends each got hot chocolate(varm cacao). We were all pleased with our choices and with the prices; they were on the cheaper end compared to other coffee places we have been to here in Copenhagen. We sat outside because it was actually not raining for once but we did need to grab blankets…(which they provide!) The inside is so so cute and had a cozy vibe. Candles, free wifi, and free after-coffee gum… In conclusion: I will be returning to this café whenever I find myself in the area.

I had heard many good things about this café, so I had quite some expectations. Let’s just be honest: It definitely didn’t live up to what people had said. I don’t get the charm with Tobi’s. The environment is quite boring. The menu is quite boring. The food we got served was quite boring. Both me and M got a ciabatta sandwich for 65 dkk. We ordered completely different sandwiches, and in came exactly the same sandwich with the same filling — minus the main ingredients. What happened to creativity in the kitchen? Tobi’s isn’t bad — you get exactly what you usually get at boring cafés — but I wouldn’t recommend it to people.

I read about this Café on . It sounded like the kind of place I was looking for. I have to say that it was. The décor was very nicely done. Very simple and comfortable for a cold and rainy day. I had the breakfast plate(Morgentallerken) which came with a soft boiled egg, some salami and cheese and yogurt with muesli and maple syrup. My friend had a sandwich with rulle Pølsen. Everything was nicely done. This review was written in 2009.
