I was there with a friend for some beer and talking around 17:00. There were not many people in at that time(around 6 – 7), so it was the perfect place to sit down and relax. When the Danish weather allows it, you can have a sit outside. I’m not a big fan of staying on the pavement though. Nice and cosy interior, happy to smoke inside, quality beer and fair prices. Weird thing I didn’t even realise that there is a basement! I’ll get back there soon later at night and have a complete opinion!

This was the last stop on a very long night of a beercrawl arranged by coworkers, so it’s entirely possible that my memory of the bar, its clientele, the quality of the drinks, and the mood are totally being told through a thick pair of beer goggles. BUT. Groovy tunes in the basement, complete with a coat check, and about enough space for four people to dance comfortably, so naturally by about 3am, everyone is pressed together like sardines pumping and grinding. Kind of reminds me of that scene from Dirty Dancing where Baby brings the watermelon into the staff party, except the dance moves are obviously not nearly as good(because who can beat Patrick Swayze, amiright?!) Drinks are strong enough and reasonably priced, and I only saw one guy get kicked out the whole time I was there. Success?
