we’ve been in copenhagen for 3 weeks now and have grown weary of the day-to-day food options. finally decided to try this place after walking past it several times. hands down one of the better meals we’ve had since arriving. we opted to order from the menu and saw our food being prepared. great place, but very limited seating. very helpful and friendly staff. recommended!

Good thai food for good prices. I would stay away from the pre-prepared 45 Kr «Thai Box» items in the heating trays as I don’t think they’re very good. Those are the pre-made noodles, springrolls, red and green curries. You can have a better meal by spending just a bit more and ordering off the menu. The Tom Yum soup off the menu is tasty. Excellent for takeout. The space is not well designed for eating in. There’s only room for two tables of two and it’s poorly ventilated so that you’ll end up smelling a bit like smoke and oil by the time you leave. Since it’s a small space and the kitchen is open to the front of the shop, everytime something is cooked the greasy smoke seems to fill the room. I know I’m making it sound terrible, it’s not that bad, just one of the downsides of eating in here. And if you have a penchant for marching bands or men in large hats, go at 12:30ish and watch the royal guards parade by while you have lunch.

The best part about this place, it is hipster and doesn’t know it. Nothing says«authentic» more than just keeping the previous tenant’s signage. And they did, Big Chili! This place is aggressively no-frills but its a great value, the food is good enough and it is quick. The prepared dishes are OK but order from the menu and watch your food prepared as you wait. This is a great alternative to the depressing scandi-shawerma and uninspired pizza that dominate this neighborhood(and every neighborhood in CPH).
