This place is amazing. Truly. It entirely follows the paleo diet so you can go in and eat anything with knowledge there is no gluten, lactose or grains in any of the food and that the meat will have come from a reputable source. I have the chicken wrap which came in an egg wrap, and I had it open to have more filling! It was basically a delicious big chicken salad. I also had their chocolate muffin which was delicious. There are plenty of places to sit in there too. This branch is at the food market and you can take your food into the little seated area outside or there is a park across the road which is great to sit and eat in. Brilliant place to visit.

Great place to enjoy a quick and health lunch. Their wraps, juices and service are all well served. I will definitely be back.

To me the best restaurants are the ones that either inspire me to cook similar recipes at home, or are so complex and incredible that I know I could never match their food myself. This one is a mix of both, but with a glance of the menu I had so many ideas for recipes that have become a staple of my everyday diet, for example I now make something similar to their paleo wraps(made of eggs and different types of paleo flours) almost every day. All of their wraps are fantastic and the avocado shakes are great(although I didn’t like the one with ginger). It is a little more expensive than I had hoped, but the idea is just so great that I’m happy to pay the premium in the high hopes that this will become a more popular idea for restaurants around the world.

Tried it once and I really really didn’t like my food I should give it a second chance but it was quite bad. I like their juices though so I now stick to only drinks here.

Great, simple, yum food. Their wraps are made from scrambled eggs. I don’t really do the paleo diet or anything but the food here was yum.

Who doesn’t automatically think of wrapping a sausage in an omelette«bun» instead of bread to skirt those dodgy carbs? The«Palæodog» is a mad creation of a tasty sausage wrapped in an omelette and topped with cucumber, sauce and in my case — some fresh chilis. It was weird. Let’s be 100% clear on that. But also kind of good? I definitely had my protein fill by the end of it, and while it was enjoyable, I don’t think I’d get it again.

Oh Palaeo, Palaeooo, Palaeo don’t let me go. Don’t let me go-o-o-ooo. Oh mama mia mama mia. Hahha okay I’ll stop. But man do I miss this place. Why aren’t you here with us in A’damn? Me and my girlfriend are so inspired from Paleo recipes. But you’ve shown us true inspiration. Now we want to visit you instead of cooking. But you’re not here and it makes us so sad! I took the omelette wrapped Hotdog with onions and I absolutely loved it. The concept of wrapping an omelet like it’s some sort of … wrap. And put a hotdog inside it. Yes man! Secondly, my drink was a strawberry milkshake from what appeared to be milk and proteines. And it was just like the ‘real’ milkshake ;-)))). Nah, it was even better. Cool, relaxed and hard working staff. Free wifi and enough spots to sit inside and outside. We miss you Palaeo! Hopefully we’ll be seeing you some day soon!

Improvements abound! Palæo has been around a while now, and I would consider myself an occasional visitor when in transit and in need of a healthy meal. There was a period where I skipped over Palæo for simple reasons: the wait was often over 15 minutes, and the amount of food you got for the price wasn’t really worth it. BUT. I went back for a visit yesterday, figuring I’d at least be able to skip the wait since it was a Tuesday evening, and wasn’t particularly hungry anyway but was craving cabbage(weird, I know). The good news is, some major improvements have been made! They now give you the option to add on extras to your meals. Goat cheese, almonds, parmesan, etc(yes, at extra cost). They also have a few new menu items(the one I wanted was sold out…), but I also waited about 3 minutes for my meal and the portions are now what I would consider totally worth the price. I’m wondering if them expanding to salads in 7−11s at 39kr brought reality to the picture a bit and made them realize that if they were going to justify those prices, they needed to boost things a bit in their shops. In any case, the taste was great, there was enough sauce and pulled pork to compensate for the half of a head of cabbage that was in the bottom(I got the«Grisen Salat» — Pulled Pork Salad, my cabbage craving was sufficiently SATISFIED), and I was FULL afterward, but in that gratifying, I-just-did-something-healthy-for-myself-and-feel-really-smug-about-it, way. Pop by for a visit, especially if it’s been a while. I bet you’ll also be pleased with the changes.

I stopped here to grab a juice before sitting in the sunshine. Palaeo has a nice variety of juices, and my ingefaeren juice was refreshing. The wait was a little bit long, and it seemed like they could have been more efficient, but I’d come back here again to try some food!

My friend visiting from Norway reeeeeally wanted to go to Palæo while she was in Copenhagen. Seems like it almost has some mythical status among foodies in Oslo, since they’re all raving about the whole«stone age» diet over there. We were not disappointed. Both of us got wraps. Mine was with honey-marinated chicken, cabbage and cashews and came in a lovely omelet-ish wrap. It tasted very nice and fresh and felt super healthy. It also made me full for quite a while, which is pretty amazing, seeing as I can eat anytime, all the time. Since it was the weekend(who am I kidding, I’d have one any day), I was feeling fancy and got a chocolate milkshake. Also very yummy and surprisingly nice with the wrap. I find it kinda hilarious, though, that they add protein powder to their shakes. Very stone-agey. The tables they had were a little messy when we got there, even though they didn’t seem too busy. But the service was quick and cheery. All in all a very nice experience and sure to be repeated!

It’s not every day you find a restaurant that’s Paleolithic, it’s one of the hardest things about being paleo. With that said, I really enjoy palæo. I wish they had a bigger menu but so far I’ve only had their wraps. I really like how the wrap is made from an omelette. It would be nice if they mixed in veggies with it. The food isn’t incredible but the fact there’s a paleo restaurant is already impressive in my book. I do admit the food is something you can make yourself but it’s quick and easy to go which is nice. The set up of the place isn’t much like a dine in restaurant but rather and take out kind of set up. Nonetheless I will be back to try the salads and entrees.

I love eating real, natural foods and therefore I like paleo/the cave man way of eating. The prices here are OK — you get some quality food for around 70 kr. The juices are a bit expensive(50 kr) but I guess that’s just the prices in Copenhagen. I can recommend the Bolo(69kr)(you probably won’t go hungry after that). A wrap(59kr) is also quite nice but I’m still hungry after one of those. Extra cheese for the Bolo is 5kr and that’s just a rip-off(and part of the reason that I only gave 3 stars). If you pay 5kr for Parmesan cheese you should get a little more than the small sprinkle of cheese that I got(see picture). The service varies. Today it wasn’t very good but it might have been because they were busy.

Kettlebells never struck me as centerpieces, but Paleo uses them everywhere — in front of the counter, on the picnic tables, any place 30 pounds of iron will fit. We grabbed a carrot-avocado-ginger juice on a swing through the market; I’m not sure I go for the image of a caveman with a juice extractor, but the drink was tasty. The pictures of the food looked good — but everyone seemed to be getting juice, either the bright orange carrot-based one, or something green. I’ll have to try a grain bowl next time. Or maybe just a hunk of wooly mammoth.

Hot roast duck, red cabbage, pomegranate, fresh orange and all wrapped up(and presented as a ‘wrap) in an egg wrap! That stuff is the thing of dreams. Ok it was a bit pricey at around £7 but it waaas goooood. Good luck trying to stop those pesky pomegranate seeds falling out as you eat, and the fresh fruit in there does drip out quite a bit of juice so you are likely to get it all over yourself, but you won’t mind after tasting it. This place is in a rather new and purpose built market and you can simply wander from store to store picking what you want to have for your lunch. I just popped across the aisle while I waited for my wrap from heaven and grabbed a pint of a local beer then plonked myself at a table and waited for my name to be called. Didn’t have to wait long. Spent the rest of my time there throwing my food down my t-shirt, swigging beer and watching the people go by, wonderful, recommend it to anyone.
