I went here with a group of 10 on a thursday evening. Sorry to say, we left rather disappointed. Service was not very attentive and appeared hurried and in a rush — perhaps they were understaffed on this particular night, but we certainly didn’t get the five star treatment. Food was pleasant, a bit boring(I had the salad entre and organic chicken main) and rather pricey. The latte that finished off my meal left a lot to be desired and I wouldn’t come here again for coffee. We had planned to have a nice meal and a chat, but the acoustics of the place was poor and didn’t encourage us to relax, eat and spend the evening chatting away. As a result we left early. If I was a hotel guest here, I would go elsewhere to eat.

The Midtown Grill in the Copenhagen Marriott was wonderful. I was a little hesitant at first because normally hotel restaurants aren’t the best. Midtown Grill changed my perception of hotel restaurants. The restaurant décor was modern and trendy. Many of the tables are overlooking the water(canal). Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food we ordered was fresh and delicious. I ordered the roasted beet and blue cheese salad and a grass-fed Angus burger. My husband had a Caesar salad and the free range chicken. Both of our meals were outstanding! I wish I lived in Copenhagen so I could eat at the Midtown Grill more often. :)

During the course of our recent, epic, European vacation, we stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen. We checked in the hotel after a long train ride from Berlin, and were utterly famished. We managed to squeak into the Midtown Grill just before closing, and we were treated to a top-notch dining experience. We were seated at a nice table next to the windows overlooking the canal. First, the service was truly excellent — our waiter was experienced and attentive. He was always there when we needed him and didn’t bother us when we didn’t need him. Second, the food was very, very good. In fact, it was excellent. We had the local Danish steaks, which were a great choice(it IS a steak house, after all). The bread and other accompaniments were all excellent, and our meal was very satisfying. At the very end, the icing on the cake, our waiter brought out a complementary dessert — a little hibachi grill over which to roast marshmallows which we then dipped in shaved chocolate. Remember: we were there after closing time by then, and were the last party in the restaurant. Our waiter never tried to push us out or hurry us. We were able to relax and savor a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter earned a significant extra tip from me, which is a measure of just how happy were were.
