There are many bars in Copenhagen and this is my least favorite of those that I’ve visited. The drinks are cheap (when I went it was 2 for 1), but the vibe is off. No one was dancing, the upstairs was closed, very young Danes were sitting quietly with what looked to be one of their fathers… basically if you want a fun night of dancing, don’t go here! Granted, I did go on a Thursday night, and maybe it is better on the weekends, but it really felt like a glorified frat basement (especially because it IS in a basement!). The music was nothing to write home about either.

San Francisco, CA
Miami is a cool bar because it’s divey and easy to get there from the train station. We ended up here after some bar hopping and witnessed some pretty funny things. The bartender is chill and friendly.
There’s a smoking area and we saw a bunch of people smoking hookah.

— No cover charge — pay as you drink
— 20DKK coat check — CASH ONLY
— 10 shots for 100DKK — not your typical American shots — pretty weak
— Convenient location — around other bars
Cons:
— Line to check your coat is annoying — while waiting in line, its cold b/​c the bouncer opens and closes the door to let people in
— Two floors — bars are on both floors
— Dance floor on the upper level — pretty lame, not much dancing — people come here to socialize and chat
