I came here with a colleague, excited tro try it out because I heard good things. It is a charming place when you walk in, very local and Copenhagen-ish. I think it is actually a stark contrast to their website because the website seems to be more formal than the place. The concept is simple and great value for money. Choose between 3, 5 and 7 course menu with a choice of wine pairing. he first course was fish with some fresh veggies and dill, and the main was a yummy chicken dish served with lingonberry sauce and kale. The dessert was my favorite with blue stilton, chocolate cookies with caramel on top served with Canadian maple syrup. That was something! I must also give a shout out to the bread and butter, They have 2 kinds of butter they serve on the side. One made from chicken drippings, and one of browned butter that has been hardened again. I would go back for the dessert and bread. But all fairness aside, this place is clear value for money with a good Copenhagen experience and introduction to the whole ”new nordic” cuisine.

Something was missed. Not sure if this was the culmination of my amazing food experiences in Stockholm and this restaurant just failed to compare or the fact that the brisket was incredibly dry or simply because I was charged an extra 20DKK for using my credit card, something just didn’t add up. The menu is simple, there are tasting menus ranging from 3, 5 or 7 courses, with about 100DKK difference for every jump. The other option was to order off the a la carte menu which had pretty much the same items on the tasting. The only caveat is if you want the 5 or 7 course tasting, everyone at the table must also get it. However, if you order the 3 course, then other have the option of going a la carte. We opted for the 3 course plus some items a la carte. Everything was good, nothing was spectacular, it didn’t help that we were sitting right next to the kitchen window and the one waiter that was on staff was trying to get to all the tables. By the time our dessert arrived, I wanted out of that restaurant stat, there was nothing left to be desired except for the sour taste in my mouth that I just spent quite a bit of money on subpar food and an experience that was little to be desired.

For the price, a, delicious degustation. We had the give course menu with wine pairing. Service was 3.5, food came at good intervals. Food was delish. Tatare, brill and brisket were the best. Overall, great dining experience for the price and last minute reservation.

The restaurant is in very simple decoration but don’t get fooled by that! What’s really in heaven was the amazing food from the kitchen and professional wait staff… Emma & Jonathan. We had been extremely accommodated with, we were very happy, recommend 3-course dinner and pairing wine. A+ joint! Would love to come back some day !

We were very excited to visit København and we were not disappointed. We had a starter and a main menu. The starter was a heavy mos with herbs and Comte — which in my opinion was too big. It tasted really good and also why I did not stop eating, but the size of the dish was too much. The fish dish was fantastic! In my opinion a poor selection of beer, which I find to fit the concept of the place nicely. At last, one huge plus for playing Gramsespektrum in the bathroom!

Das Kjobenhavn is IN. Ich zitiere: Kjobenhavn is a declaration of love to Copenhagen. We wish to create a place where everyone will enjoy spending time. Kjobenhavn should be cozy, but hip. Old-fashioned, but slightly modern. Chic, but down to earth. The high quality of the food should meet reasonable prices with the very best service. Dem ist nichts hinzu zu fügen.

We just had dinner there and were amazed by the creative cooking. They told us it got renovated just a week ago and the place looks cosy and stylish with a big art drawing showing copenhagen on the wall. I would say it’s rather expensive, the portions are small so you will need a starter and a dessert if you are hungry and this can easily add up to 400 dkk per person with wine, but to me the quality is worth it.
