Extremely delicious Durum. The place is so — so not very clean and very small but the food is awesome and the price is decent for the quality /size of the portion. I will def be back

What’s all the fuss about this place? I wouldn’t be so sure that I would come back to eat at Kebabistan. I was wandering around before coming home and I was very hungry and in the mood for falafel sandwich. That’s why I stopped by Kebabistan and tried their falafel pitabrød — 27kr. It was really nothing special. There were some sauces in it, some vegetables as salad, tomatoes, onions, some chili and falafel, of course. The«falafel balls» were not hot enough, they weren’t cold nor warm tho. And that I didn’t like that. I didn’t even appreciate the coldness of the owner. They just asked me what I’d rather have in my sandwich and that was all of it. Nor a smile, nor a small chat. I’m not asking to talk about the Greater Systems but just a couple of snorts would work. And it didn’t. Food was OK, staff was below average, the place has few sitting spots. Nah, I’ve seen better.

Been here before. Was better the last time. Thought it was bland with too many onions and the salad was not that fresh. Not the best experience, and doubt we will be back. Probably tough, but with the number of other options you must time only get one strike and you are out.

We went here because of the funny name. It means«kebab in town» but you know it also sounds like a country for kebab, with kebab people. Anyway it was so hot and packed when we got in and we didn’t understand anything but then we ordered finally. We got our food last, after all the regulars got their stuff before us… It was all good until… Some gangsters came in. They were dressed like they were from the *blade* movie you know with Wesley snipes, they had black goth hacker gangster clothes and fast sunglasses and they were too excited about getting kepabs one stared punching his fists together. It was scary. Luckily they didn’t attack us because we never made eye contact … We escaped and ate our kepaps in peace. I would go back someday tho

Their durum is the only durum on my to-do list when I get back to Copenhagen this summer.

I went there because I checked the reviews of it. I bought a kebab which cost 45kr, 50% more than normal price, but it does not taste better. The meat is lack of flavor and I can’t taste any sauce but chili. Very bad experience :(kind of make me don’t trust Unilocal anymore.)

Excellent experience. Clean place, big portions, smiling and friendly staff(although his English was not fluent, he tried to have a small talk). Best shawarma in Denmark I’ve yet tried, fresh salad and nice bead.

5 stars not because the shawarma is amazing. 5 stars for effort. This might be the only shawarma shop in the city that cares at all about what they serve. Meat that may actually have come from a lamb. No halal spam. No weird fermented meat product. Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion & parsley combine to make a sandwich whose only defect is the ubiquitous and inscrutable crème fraîche dressing. Swap that nasty cream dressing for tahina or hummus, maybe throw in some pickles and this place might get 6 stars.

After enjoying a couple of drinks with my brother, we were looking for a low-key place to eat some food. We came upon Kebabistan and ordered a couple of the the Shawarma platters. The fellow behind the counter was friendly and cracked a couple jokes with us after learning our primary language was English, with a decent command of Swedish and a poor grasp of Danish. The food was served hot off the grill, lamb was nice and tender, vegetables were also good. It was nice to switch things up with this choice in Denmark and it was easy on our wallets.

big fan of the chicken and regular shawarma here, not so much of the falafel. both the turkish bread and durum wrap are consistent and well-arranged… like a greasy, fragrant meat bouquet. grab an ayran out of the fridge and you’re good to go. i am actually glad to see this kebabistan has a lower rating than the one in nørrebro; not because the other is better, but this one is tiny and there’s always a line. as with most places, a line of locals at an eating establishment is a good sign. hmm, maybe i shouldn’t have written that last part. look away, Unilocalers! nothing to see here.(;
