I am a fan of this place — I have been here a few times to get my dose of Pad Thai or their nice big soups. It is my go to place if I am in the city and in the mood for some thai. It always take me back to Thailand being here — I think the food is what comes the closest to real thai food. The food is perfect, god portions and served in a very decorative way, sometimes in a pineapple, with beautiful flowers or something else creative. I really enjoys the srvice as well always friendly staff when I have been there, I have had good experiences here. If I had to say one negative thing it would be that they are a bit overpriced, just a bit.

This restaurant varies with the company I keep, it would seem. It’s been spicy enough and rather delicious when I’ve gone with Asian friends who are more or less regulars, and it’s been dismal when I went with my husband and some other Scandinavians. Quite honestly, it was one of the worst meals I’ve had here, with bad, confused service and very very bland dishes. I like the Paypaya salad the best, and the whole fish that my friends get them to make. Even when the food has been good, it’s a bit more money than I am used to paying for Thai food, and to make the experience even less enjoyable, the past 2 times I have gone, their credit card terminal has been down. I don’t think I’ll go back on my own.

Definitely a fan, and I’m in the dead feesh club as mentioned by the previous reviewer Mina K. I have previously ordered different kind of dishes in here but the fish is definitely a win. Do try the fried tofu appetizer and the papaya salad will kick your ass. Ask for Thai spicy only if you are man enough to handle it. Don’t say I didn’t warn you

my friends and i have this group called the dead feesh club… to be inducted, one must eat the special fish that is ordered here. it’s not on the menu, so don’t bother looking for it. we have had to explain several times to new chefs what we meant. it is simply a white fish, deep fried, and then smothered in spicy curry sauce with bell peppers and thai basil. and it should be thai spicy! not ‘farang spicy!’ we usually hold our dead feesh club meetings at noon on the weekends… nothing picks you up like a spicy lunch(or brunch, for those of us who are late risers). dinner here is crowded and the portions are smaller. order the fish, rice, and a curry and you can share amongst 4 hungry diners. don’t make the mistake of ordering one dish(besides starters) to yourself; it is a lot of food and it’s meant to be eaten family style. as for the price, it is a bit more expensive than some thai take-aways but i love our waitress and the atmosphere almost as much as i love the feesh.
