Solid Asian grocer, packed with all kinds of stuff! As Lauren C. mentions, the produce section is where it’s at. As soon as you walk through the plastic flaps into the refrigerator, the smell of durian hits you right in the face! They got that and most of the leafy greens you’re looking for. I got 500g of mung bean sprouts on sale for 14 dkk, that is pretty good. They also have a nice selection of dried noodles and instant noodles. Other than the produce fridge there isn’t much difference between this shop and others closer to the central station. Definitely worth checking out!

Kakshidi Food Import’s store may seem like it’s on the small scale, especially when comparing them to other Asian groceries in Vesterbro, but don’t let that fool you. This place is packed to the brim with goodies from all different kinds of Asian cuisines, including: Chinese, Thai, a little Japanese, and a few Korean items. And they’re all at reasonable prices. They also frequently have items on bulk sale so definitely keep an eye out for even more discounts. For me, the highlight of their store is their produce section. They seem to have more fresh produce than any other Asian store I have been to in KBH and it’s all kept in a refrigerated area in the store. I like to get my coriander here because I can never rely on my local Danish grocery to have it in stock, it’s way cheaper here, and you get more. They’re open seven days a week as well! Just make sure to bring cash or your Dankort.

Great Asian grocery shop, with a focus on Chinese items. I think it’s a restaurant supply store because many items come in bulk sizes(10 L of cooking oil, anyone?). Of course, they have normal sized versions as well. The prices are good, and their stock is pretty comparable to other Asian stores in Vesterbro. I think their main attraction is the bulk items(dried mushrooms), and some things which you can buy in multiples at a slight discount(seasonings and such). It was also one of the busiest grocery stores I’ve been to in a while, but that might be due to the fact that is was a Saturday and the food market was on in Kødbyen.
